Finally somebody that mows the lawn properly. Doesn't just mulch the grass back into the grass. You take your time with good edging. I love the fact that when you're shoveling up the grass around the edging you put it into a can instead of back into the grass I hate all those other ones that do that.
@joshslawnservice Жыл бұрын
I try to bag up or put in can most of the dirt, if it’s just stuff that can be mulched up I usually just do that. There’s nowhere cheap to dump organic stuff here.
@pheobefink2664 Жыл бұрын
Better to mulch it back into the lawn than have it carried off and buy fertlizer for the lawn.
@pdwheaty11 Жыл бұрын
Why would you not put grass and dirt from edging back into the yard where it came.
@joshslawnservice Жыл бұрын
@@pdwheaty11 because most people gripe about it in the comments, if I do it the right way. I agree with you that it should be done that way, but I’m trying to gain subs. I would put it all back into the yards if people weren’t watching.

That was a fun idea, of people driving by in shock from the positive change. All the gutter and edging work should hold up for a while. You make good multi-use of your edger to get things done. Like the before and after differences and noted an extra you did, of pulling vines off one corner of the house. Nice work.

Josh to pickup large quantities of loose trimmings, instead of a square point shovel, I took a plastic snow shovel, that came with metal edge, replaced the handle with a long handle. It picks up 3 times more trimmings is light weight and is a great way to push loose trimmings into a bigger pile if you need that. Great work. 👍

Suggestion. Weed eat and/or mow where possible over the edges first. Then run the edger after. Mowing/weed eating over and around the edges first removes most of the grass/weeds so that it is easier to use the edger and easier to see the edge line.
