I Trapped EVERY Mob in 36 Hours!
I trapped every mob in the 1.20 Minecraft update in 36 hours!
@skavio I challenged ourselves to stay up for 36 hours straight and try to trap all 153 mobs Minecraft has to offer. Not only did we go for the basic mobs but we also attempted to capture EVERY VARIANT OF MOB! This got pretty crazy! I ended up excluding most of Skavio’s POV from this video because he will be making his own video on it soon! Make sure to check out his channel!

Only 2 of the "unobtainable" mobs are actually unobtainable...the vex and wandering trader... Can get a bucket of Tadpole, breed the two Wandering Trader Llamas to get one that doesn't despawn, then for the nether mobs just have a different section that stays in the nether.

At least in Java edition, you can actually tame the Wandering Trader llamas and they become a permanent mob. I don't know where the misconception about them not being tameable comes from, but they are. And they will not despawn.

its only the vex then, you can stop the wandering trader from despawning. i have a superflat world where wandering traders are super important and i have brought all of them to the nether so that they don't despawn

If you ever do this again, an easier way to find the infested blocks with silverfish is to pull up the f3 menu. When pointing at a block, it will tell you if its an infested stone brick or normal stone brick

@@semisemicoloncolon: You don't really need a pickaxe to tell. I mean like yes f3 is faster, but there is a difference between hitting regular stone and infested stone meaning hitting the infested one can be broken faster with your hand than the regular stone too.

Hey, Wunba. At 19:51, you asked why curing villagers multiple times doesn't create stacked discounts. This was removed in the 1.20.2 update because, apparently, it wasn't an intended feature; it was a bug. I'm sorry you had to learn this way. 😢

it DOES work if you cure other villagers nearby, and it lowers all trades, and it’s possible to bring it down to 1 emerald

they started up with a wandering trader spawned, witch is spawned in since they only spawn after 20-40 minutes of the game being started witch is 1-2 ingame days

Awesome video as always! FYI: Trader lamas won’t despawn if you tame them. Also you can put tadpoles in a bucket so they won’t technically despawn. Nether mobs don’t change in the Nether too. Vex and Wandering Traders are the only two mobs that WILL despawn no matter what. 😊

Yes but he wanted all the mobs in the overworld so the nether mobs wouldn't work and he also wanted the mobs as entities so the tadpole in the bucket doesn't count because it is an item so the only one he was wrong on was the trader llama.

Also, fun fact from someone who has ethically 'obtained' many trader llamas before: If you breed trader llamas, the resulting baby is also considered a trader llama and will both have that designation in its health bar if you have a health bar mod, and will also be born with the trader llama carpet pattern already equipped

@@oskar7962sounds like what he wanted was wrong then. If youre going to collect all the mobs, you gotta do it the right way, dont just arbitrarily say "these mobs dont count because i cant take them to the overworld". If he really needed to have them all in the overworld (for some unknown reason), he could simply save those mobs for last, so that in the final shot you have every single mob in the overworld. Have skavio take the nether ones out from the nether and wunba place the tadpole, wandering trader, trader llama, and vex. This leaves a short short period of time where the ""unobtainable mobs"" are obtained.

Fun fact one of the updates in 1.20 was the villager rebalance so villagers will only lower their prices once if Zombified.

1:12:28 Protip: The warden will never despawn if it's nametagged, making the trapdoors unneccessary. However, they do keep him distracted so it doesn't kill the other mobs

true, in my own mc world ive mamaged aboutttt 5 pet wardens. trap the current wardens in a cage within their box, make a hole in the wall, soawn a warden and make it chase me through a tunnel, shove it in the box then name tag it. never had any despawning problems

0:47 - I’m only 47 seconds in and I already need to correct you 😂 I dunno if this is addressed later in the video, but you CAN keep a trader llama. You just have to tame them, the exact same way that you tame a horse (riding it, jumping back on when it bucks you until you see hearts - or until it stops bucking you, if you miss the hearts animation, or have particles turned off). You can even breed trader llamas with hay bales (not wheat) and make baby trader llamas! When they come around my world, I always “save” the llamas from their “mean captor” by locking the wandering trader in my house until he gets far enough away from the llamas to break the leads (I don’t wanna kill him or the llamas 😅), I collect the leads, tame the llamas, and add them to the sanctuary 😂

You can get leads faster if you put the llamas in a boat (not the trader) it'll break them. I always do that to steal the leads without murder

It‘s very cool that you got the different variants. There still is a lot potential to push it a lot further like getting all the 2700 fish variants. Also you could get a lot more Villagers with every proffesion from every biome an the zombified version of every variant.

While; yes, the wandering trader and trader llama do despawn, the trader llama CAN be captured with a lead, here is a quote from the wiki: "A trader llama has its DespawnDelay set to 47999 ticks. This value is decremented each tick that the llama is untamed, unleashed, and not being ridden by a player". Thus you CAN get a Trader llama.

The reason the name tag trade wouldn’t go cheaper was because they nerfed it in 1.20.2, so now it only cheapens the trades the first time you cure them. Though you could have gotten hero of the village to make them cheaper.

I've seen a LOT of good minecraft videos in my time, cos I got into minecraft 10 years ago. but I genuinely don't think I've ever seen one as entertaining and well-edited as this. The effort you both put into this is insane, and the quality of it is incredible, especially as you're clearly pretty young still. @@IamWonealso no one deverses hell, we can devrse death, punishment, and many others things along that but hell is a terrible thing, for most of us we are just being human, which may be “sining” but we do sins either way, its human, no one deverses hell exact somepeople like hiter, but almost98% do not. I also think thats its kinda werid how i have to obey and spend my whole human life which is limited- obeying him forever. Then in death i may not be in hell, but why do i have to be threated with hell if i do not want to obey him? Doesnt he know that its basic human urges which is why you pay for your sins? Shouldnt you be making up your sins in heaven by idk something like doing shi for the earth? Like helping people spirtfully or sm. It seems kinda werid that he knows that i have sins that are basic urges that is eves fault yet if i do the basic urges i may burn in hell. When the devil is the one who made us like this, not me. God is a little bit of narcissism to me, i belive there is many holes in how he should help me. Just my opinion though. But still, its crazy how i have to spend my whole life on someone WHO 100% HAS AN POSSIBLY PF NOT BEING REAL. theres no way you can 100% prove something. Unless you can internact with him and see him completely. ( having other people too) not just “communiateing” and believing. I must be able to see his power, form, and have a fully intact, personal, in PERSON, conversation. Just just by praying. 13:17 The wiki says that the price you got is on the higher end of the spectrum, but it also says that the pick is enchanted with enchantments you’d get from an enchanting table with levels between 5 - 19, meaning getting unbreaking 3 is fairly rare

the price of the villager trades did not decrease more due to it being a bug that was fixed in 1.20.2 causing you to only be able to lower the price of the villager trades once

The variants are just different personalities, but they do have small variations in their face (ie aggressive panda has angry eyebrows and worried has snot in its nose). The brown panda has the personality of the normal panda

Amazing video, loved the collecting every block one as well!! I was confused about the villager curing as well in my own world. As of 1.20.2 you can only cure a villager once to lower their prices. I believe it's a change to aline with bedrock edition if I remember correctly.

Ryan Trahan reference that Wunba did: “THE GAME PLAN!!!” Anyways, the reason the villager price for h e name tags didn’t go down any more is because in 1.20.2 for java (or 1.20.1 I forgot) apparently it was a glitch that the prices would continue to go lower and they fixed it.

Loved the vid! As always, amazing to see your dedication. I’m a bit confused about the pandas, you got all the variants for everything else but didn’t get all the different pandas? Just the normal and the brown. Same with the llamas as there’s the brown and white trader llamas.

Last I checked, if you breed the trader llamas, you can get a baby llama with the trader blanket! I haven't watched the whole video yet but I'm sure you'll put in a solid effort lol

You should do this challenge with the mob head drop data pack. Try and collect all the mob head. Would be a good challenge because the head drops for a lot of the mobs aren’t 100% and then there’s the vanilla heads that require the charged creeper.

about the villagers not dropping their prices: if you're on a paper server there might be a setting called "fix-curing-zombie-villager-discount-exploit", if you set it to false it should fix it :)
