I was in Turkiye last year for a holiday and wife visiting her family etc. Although im in the same boat, maybe in future i might get it done. I did notice a lot of people walking around that got there hair done. I know some people might be sketchy about doing it, but they are the best in the world. Just make sure you do your research well and find a really good one.

I never went through with it as I didn’t want to take finasteride even after the hair transplant. I was on finasteride and I did get side affects and it wasn’t worth it for me even doing a hair transplant knowing you’ll lose hair regardless if you don’t take finasteride. I didn’t like the brain fog it causes.

Im 35. 1mg finasteride for 1 year has nearly 100% fixed my crown. I use minoxidil on the front only have have seen a noticeable improvement. I purchased a derma roller but don't really use it. I highly recommend people try 1mg finasteride/ minoxidil and possibly a derma roller before getting a transplant. You should also identify what caused your hairloss in the first place or the transplant will likely fail after a few years.

I’ve been looking into this too. Funny how you posted this right after my consideration. I’ve decided to just embrace the bald head but I’m excited to see your process. Apparently you still have to take preventative measures to keep the hair you transplanted but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Good choice you won’t regret it. I made my hairs there last year too. After 6 months you can see the first results. Gosh I'm so happy now. Indeed my alopecia wasn’t that strong.

So how long will it last?

They said it will take one to one and a half years until your hair grows back in a normal style. After six months, my hair was back to 6mm, but the skin was still red. It takes time. If you have severe alopecia, you may need a second operation after at least 6 months. In Turkey, hair transplants are done on an assembly line. At the airport, you'll see so many people with red skin :)
