Appreciate for honest video about the trek !!! I wanted to know from where you booked the guide, how much it cost and what all is included in the price (like food, trekking gears etc.). Do we need to carry any stuff related to cooking like stoves and all or we just carry our own stuff like clothes and cameras? Also, did you consider that option of trek in which people stay at some point in between and watch the sunset and start off to peak at around 2:30 am? Your experience would be most helpful!

Hi Thanks for the comment, let me try to answer some of the questions here 1. we booked from a local listing we found on google (I have this number +62 813 38668454, not sure if it still works) 2. The cost was around Rs 5000 approx per person, which included a very nice guide, food on the way, he carried our bags as well when we were tired, helped us in every way possible. 3. Trekking gear were not provided, only water + food + torch and sticks. 4. Dont carry any cooking stuff, they bring there own, carry clothes and camera, it gets pretty chill at top so carry some warm clothes. 5. Yeah we took a short 30 minutes nap and rest at base before climbing the top, but other option which I might try next time is, you start at evening around 3-4 PM from bottom, climb to base in 5-6 hours and camp for the night, later summit in early morning, this will be much easier, in our case it was very tiring to climb up and down in 1 go. hope this helps, all the best for the trek.

Hi, i would like to ask of you what fitness level did you have before climbing? Can a normal everiday man do this?

It required a good fitness level, I was at stage at that time to run 5km in one go, I used to run almost daily. The trek is not easy, but can be done by taking breaks, we did the most challenging version where we started at 9PM at night, reached top at around 5 AM, came down by 9-10 AM. the easier version is where you go base camp, rest and sleep, than continue rest. this can be done nicely.

I booked a guide after looking online on google, most of them are really good at what they do, safety was taken care, and they helped a lot with our baggage.
