Do you know how they got the blaster sound? They took a small steel rod/wrench and struck a guy/tension wire like those that support a telephone pole/radio tower. The sound wave propagates up and down the wire and when sped up in post, the Star Wars "blaster" sound effect was born.

There’s not really a shortage currently on 5.45x39; numerous online retailers have a ton of the stuff currently. Red Army Standard @ $13 a box/$415 a case is one option with plenty of stock, also Hornady “Black” @ $17 a box with plenty of stock. Granted the prices aren’t great for what should be milsurp stuff but it’s definitely attainable at the present time.
