Girl I have a sleep disorder and wake up like every hour or so, it's legit so exhausting living like that so the fact that you stuck through all this stuff, especially going to the gym and forcing yourself to get up at a decent hour, despite having disturbed sleep multiple nights in a row is insane. Definitely gonna try and force myself to try harder for a week, even if I'm tired!
@SusieJTodd2 жыл бұрын
I’m so sorry you have to deal with that! That would be so frustrating ❤ I hope that there’s something you can do or help you can get to manage it :( I had bad sleep issues in school and medication was the only option that helped me in the end but I know that this isn’t a good option for everyone! Just thought I’d let you know but not encouraging you to just start popping pills obviously 😆 so proud of you for still staying positive and wanting to make good habits despite how tired you must be! You’re amazing! xx luckily I don’t struggle with sleep issues all the time anymore so please don’t compare your productivity to mine ❤

I just finished 30 days of yoga after a massage therapist recommended it to me. I'd never done yoga or any consistent exercise before that. It helped my back pain almost completely! And it made me feel good about myself, impressed that I was even trying. I will continue with this and see what else I can do for myself, because I deserve it!

One thing I think helps me tremendously is setting a fixed bedtime and wake up alarm that rings everyday. I am not startled when I wake up because my body is used to the time and I immediately know what time it is. The best part I either choose to wake up during that time or go back to sleep. This is the one thing I’ve been able to keep up and I think it really helps with getting ready for the day
@SusieJTodd2 жыл бұрын
I’ve actually been much better lately after setting an alarm for 8 every morning! Just struggle with the getting to sleep at the same time every night part 😅 definitely sleep through it some morning but most days I get up by at least 9 now!

My favourite healthy habit is making my bed. It just starts the day off with something already done. Keeps me from getting back in bed. And makes my room look cleaner from that alone.

My favorite healthy habit is probably doing my skincare every night before bed. I used to be sooo bad at taking care of my skin but now I feel incomplete without doing so. It's like I'm cleansing the day away and preping for a fresh start. Plus, it's that extra bit of "me time" which I always look forward to

My favorite healthy habit is to get up suuuper early (I’ve always loved it) and do something nice for myself, which might be meditation, yoga and/or reading. I tried to do the same things every day, but it never worked for me, because I’d want to do something else, but then I’d have to break my habit, so I’d push it forward until I ended up doing neither. Having a selection of nice ways to start my days are definitely my favorite habit💛💛

Hey Susie, absolutely love love your videos and your personality! And if you or anyone else reading this is waking up randomly in the middle of the night, that’s God waking you up to pray, just as Jesus did. Those are highly spiritual hours from 12-5 a.m. So if you’re constantly waking up randomly in the middle of the night, God just wants you to kneel down, pray and talk to Him. ✝️❤️✨

Unpopular but true fact, if you are naturally a night owl, then that means that your actual REM sleep will come later than most people. That means your deep sleep could happen anytime between the hours of 3 AM and 8 AM. So if you naturally are a night owl, and you tend to sleep in till eight or 9 o’clock that’s not a bad thing, that’s just your natural circadian rhythm. So if you can’t stick to getting up at 6 AM every day then don’t feel bad about yourself, that’s your body asking you to do what it really wants to do.
