This is the definitive list we needed! I waste SO MUCH TIME trying to source vanilla fragrances. Some of them are ok, some are not. I totally agree with you on the ones from the list that I have tried myself. And there's always someone that loves one that I don't, so sometimes I have to resign myself to making the ones that sell, even if I don't love them.

I used very vanilla from CS for several years and recently switched to very vanilla from TFM because it is cheaper, smells the same and has a better hot throw. This video gives me more confidence that I made the right choice. Thank you!

I would love another comparison video of Lemon fragrances. I have tried. So. Many. Lemons. I have a few I stick to, but again I have had some duds that I wish I hadn't wasted the money on. Either they smelled great oob, but had zero throw, or they didn't smell amazing oob and they THROW in wax. There doesn't seem to be but a few that are all of the above.

Oh yes lemon would be a great one to compare! I feel like there is a spectrum with lemon scents: bakery lemon all the way to cleaning supplies type lemon! Also sometimes lemon smells like fuel when burning in candles 🫠

I heard about Vanilla Voodoo a lot. So I get it and all I smell out of the bottle is sour vanilla. And I can’t bring myself to put it in wax to test it out. I’m on the hunt for a great vanilla so this list is helpful.

Candle Cocoon FOs are all developed to be used at rates of ~3% to 5% in soy wax, so are much more concentrated than many others. Tested rate for Vanilla Voodoo is 4.375% (.7oz/lb). At that rate, you don't get any "sourness," just a full, wonderful vanilla. At higher rates, you might be getting the bitter cherry. Each FO is tested at multiple rates to determine what gives the complete experience the designer and compounder are working together to give you.

For the past year ive only purchased from lonestar and that is one amazing company from their quality products, great customer care and best packing and fast shipping i ever experienced. I too have searched for the perfect vanilla but no luck. Because of you i already ordered the vanilla bean at lonestar and the vanilla voodoo from candle cocoon which i never heard of til your video lol hoping for that great vanilla scent.
