When you have 99 strength you should be able to swing big weapons faster. Miyazaki doesn’t want strength weapons to overpower Kevin’s Goonveil.

That's the thing that separates Dex and Str weapons, attack speed. That's why I'm Dex + Faith 4 Life. Faster procs, quicker attack recovery, and harder to dodge.

One of the best invasion weapons is the Zamor curved sword. Built in AOE AOW, procs frost for more damage, and has three true combo routes. Either that or Cleanrot thrusting sword for the range and huge hitbox.

The swap that happens a few seconds after 2:10 is insane. I believe the they were actually in attack frames before you were in your menus… Hands down the best I’ve ever seen. I believe it was a legit swap to no macro… REAL! To clarify it’s about 10 seconds after the stamp and it’s a swap to parry for the W. So good I had to edit ✍️ and clarify!

Ashes yes, I'd go further and separate ashes from FP. Give them their own meter that you need to fill through regular attacks. The more you attack, the faster it fills, so it's risk vs reward. Spells more tricky though. Add recovery and you make mage builds unviable. But I think they could look at FP cost and cast speed.

I'm sure someone already mentioned using the divine bird helm. Gives you 3 str and 4 dex stats. I got 60 vig, 80 str, and 43 end at 150

Honestly the added endurance for heavier armor feels much better to play. The damage in the game is so high that even with 50-54 you can kill people very quickly

Hey @steelovsky at 14:20 do you like the jr1 better than jr2? I always use jr2 because the hit box looked similar but maybe I've been missing out, literally.

jr1 does 99+99 poise dmg, so half hit can fail to stagger. jr2 will always stagger, but has significantly more endlag, even with block cancel etc. damage is probably not that different so i think it just depends on the situation and opponent's setup?
