One more piece of advice. When you drop your bike and want to pick it up, turn your front wheel in the direction you are lifting the bike. Wheel face the sky not the ground. It will save you a lot of energy.

Lavi, Im so impressed with your bravery just starting out as a new rider and hitting such challenging roads. I was super impressed with Ollie for taking in a big bike with a passenger around the world, impressed with you both in that one, but watching you overcome your fears is making this journey interesting. One piece of advice that’s at least true in Canada but likely everywhere…don’t pick fruit or berries below waste level on a path or road. Boys will use any tree or bush for a urinal walking home from the pub.

Yeah, those steep rocky hills are very challenging. Well done Lavi! This was an enormous challenge to take on with such little riding experience. I ate blackberries yesterday out of a packet. How good to get them straight off a bush! You don't see them anywhere near here. It is nice to see a paved road after a challenging dirt ride. The amount of times I've just missed a cafe... 🤣 But it was good that it was closed in the end because you got to stop in that cool village and meet another subscriber! How cool would it be travelling the UK in a canal boat! I'd love that! What a pleasant end to a challenging start to the day on the trails! Another great episode guys!

Thank you for sharing. I have 51 years of motorcycle experience. I did off road in my first 5 years. After seeing your series I will never travel any part of the Trans Euro Trail. We have so many exciting places to go in Europe and so many good roads. There is no reason to copy others - especially when their suggestions are dubious. There are no places motorcyclists absolutely have to go. We are not lemmings.

We had a Welsh choir visit western Canada and the whole family went to hear. It's kind of like Italian opera if you're not Italian. I was surprised to see all the major Canadian cities have Welsh choirs. A Welsh choir that practiced in a cow shed sang a Cover of Falling by Harry Styles Made The Judges CRY on Britain's Got Talent 2023!

A narrow boat ride or a canoe trip. Maybe a pack raft ride. That aqueduct is unbelievable. Sure it has a Roman connection someway. Long way down if you fall out of the boat. I do have to agree with the comments so far where it is mentioned that you , Lavi , should be able to pick your own little bike up by yourself. There are ladies out there that pick up bigger bikes than yours that are also heavier than yours,without them even carrying any extra weight . Jocelin Snow from USA has very good tips on riders battling with picking up their bikes .Those little bikes with the fat wheels are actually not ideal for rocky terrain,same as the Yamaha TW 200. I really like your channel and your video work is very good and well edited.

Yip that was rough, I have wiped 3 times offroad and all were downhill with something that threw my front off. Gotta just take it at an easy and controlled pace, keep ur weight all the way back, arms nearly straight and up on your pegs with mainly back brake.

Rocks SUCK big time. Last month I crashed three times while doing a section of the Washington State BDR while climbing steep hills covered in similar-sized rocks that you're experiencing. Speed and knobby tires were the advice I was given. You're doing great, Lavi! Keep going, and be safe!!!

Hi guys, honestly I still think you should've completed an offroad ADV course before you decided to take on the TET. Lavi' you wouldn't have been so "terrified" if you had learnt the proper techniques. As far as picking your bike up alone Lavie , check out 'Doodle on a motocycle's' video from 6 days ago, she is much smaller and lighter than you and picks up a 250kg BMW. Every video I'm shouting "do a course" at the screen and it pains to see you upset yourself, but then again there is the saying "warum einfach, schwer gehts auch"😉 ride safe guys "🖤❤💛"🇬🇧

Thanks for the beautiful drone shots of the Llangollen Aqueduct! I worked and lived in Wrexham for half a year, just around the corner from Llangollen, so I am very familiar with the area. Just a little education on the Welsh LL sound: it is pronounced as a mix of th, L and k. That is how I remind myself :-) And the double DD is a very gentle, airy th sound.

The ground clearance on those Van Vans is barely enough for some of those trails and, as I saw in an earlier video, not enough for one or two of them. You would have been better off following the ACT route. Like the TET it’s based on off-road tracks and trails but is designed to be easily followed by people on big adventure bikes. It would have probably have been a much more forgiving introduction especially for Lavi.
