Sounds just as good as whatever was your rig chain. If no bulid flaws - why not

Sounds good to me. The humbucker usually sound loud in the bridge due to the voltage of the pickup. As long as it's splits the coil, that all you need.

Tuned in because it looks a lot like an old Ibanez RS model.

The headstock, yes, but the body reminds me more of a Musicmam Silhouette. The neck feels nothing like an Ibanez

Injury/C19/injury left me in bed looking for something to do. So, I got a cheap rig for the guitars I had hanging around. I *only* replaced or upgraded the Donner or Azor guitars and pedals I got because I wanted more controls/options (and could afford to do so). I didn't replace my Joyo AC-Tone with a Walrus because it sucked, I got the Walrus because the AC-Tone was so cool. See? They were outstanding little values. HF.

@@Peter-by3oxnice! Yeah, I’ve ran the line out into some IR’s and it sounded pretty good that way. The speaker in this combo honestly isn’t the worst 10” I’ve heard though.

@@Chucksguitargeekery I tell ya man those little Joyo Zombie2 amps are a cracking buy as well - I have my eye on a Peavey like the ones u have - saw one going for 200 snoops and it is a tube one - any thoughts are they worth it ? - in a recording sense as thats what I was thinking of using for

*I'm an scientist in electronics engineering and a symphonic instrumental and metal shred-sweep player, so my standards are unique all around but also really high.* Their guitars are pretty outrageous for how good they are out of the box but the real value is if you're capable of and willing to modify them. *So far, the pickups in both of my Grotes are phenomenal and bear in mind, I'm an electronics engineer and a guitar pickup is as basic as it can get for me.* Keep in mind, guitars can be built to completion and even stocked in a warehouse for $40. *I watch factory line builds and every step of manufacturing is so fine-tuned the labor required is ultimately unskilled.* With all that said, the necks are usually like a strung baseball bat that needs a palm sanding before sealing and my Grote 335 *warped* after about 3-4 months! *I can fix it by heat pressing it, but most people can't.* That said, my Grote 150 telecaster is unbelievable, and both guitars have outstanding pickups. They don't need replaced and I tend to build custom active circuits for every guitar. Sometimes I need to use different pickups but, in many cases, the stock pickups of "junk brand" guitars are perfectly adequate.

Nice! I’m honestly ok with baseball bat necks. But, that’s why I tried to explain in the video that this neck is nothing like an Ibanez, even though the guitar looks kinda Ibanez-y. I will say though, in the time since I recorded this video, I put better strings on this guitar and fine-tuned the setup a bit more. What a difference that has made. With the notes ringing true now, it took this guitar up a major notch.
@rockerbuck967Ай бұрын
The question is - where was it made, and were any child labor laws violated?
@Craig52-zq1btАй бұрын
It was NOT made at "rape the musician" Gibson. Still making outdated heavy and awkward trash.
@ChucksguitargeekeryАй бұрын
It seems like it was made by the Redid factory, which is legit enough to be at NAMM, so I think it’s above board? Maybe this was just a factory second bring clearanced?

Slave labor
@ChucksguitargeekeryАй бұрын
In the time since I made the video, I did determine It was made by the company Redid, which is above board enough to have a NAMM booth. Does NAMM allow companies that use slave labor? I guarantee the labor conditions are at least as good as the electronic device you’re commenting on 🤷♂️. Straight up counterfeit “chibsons” are a different story
