I'm fairly new to doing gels. I have a big problem with Beetles chipping & peeling. Sad because they have colors that I really like! Had the same problem with Sensationals, they chipped & peeled too. A friend gifted me with Gelmoments. What a difference! It's really lasting on my nails. But I still adore the Beetles colors. Thanks for sharing your review.

Quick update👀 I ordered the beetles gel base and top coats. It’s been 4 days and no chipping or peeling !! Also I got the kit with the foam file. I think all that helped to properly prep the nail, which my noob ass didn’t know how to 😅

Sensationalis never chipped for me! Have u ever put thr nsil protectors underneath? Or did the gel on top of full cover artifical nails? Def try one of those, as they both stick well.

@@funsizedi88 I have thin, brittle nails. Can't risk artificial nails as they would destroy my nails. It's just the nature of the beast I guess. Yes, I did all the prep work & base coats, etc. Thanks for your tips though. 💅

@@SelenaSilveirawhen you said you had polish hit skin I winced because that will cause air to get underneath and the manicure to chip and peel prematurely, always avoid skin and cuticle bed ❤

Let’s just mention how perfectly shaped her nails are My nails over here short and my thumb nails are 1 mile long 😍😂😀 Also I got a question how long does it usually take for a thin coat of nail polish to dry underneath the light

It should take 60seconds or 120 second maximum. Hope that helps

You should use a cotton ball or something like that with acetone after you are done💕

You cold try rubbing alcohol on it it helps with the tackyness

I just think these are a pain on the butt. Too much? It gets tacky and sticky, too little? It doesn't last. I personally don't think is worth the trouble. And this product is not cheap either.

I recommend sally hansen cuticle remover gel instead of cutting your cuticles

@Sterre X it’s a blue bottle, you add them onto your cuticles for about 10 secs I believe and gently push your cuticles back
