There are 477 crafting engrams in ARK Survival Ascended, and Carl can't craft ANY of them. He has his exp rates on 0x, meaning he is stuck permanently at level 1. He can't increase his stats, can't unlock engrams, can't open supply drops, and can't make saddles. He really can't do... anything.
Carl's goal is to beat all 4 bosses and ascend from The Island while stuck at level 1, and he has 100 days to make it happen. The clock is ticking, and this challenge is harder than anything I've done yet on ARK Survival Evolved, or ARK Survival Ascended. This challenge will push ARK to its absolute limits.
Disclaimer: some things in this video had to be modified in order to make it possible, such as using commands to start the boss fights. (they have level requirements) I talk more about it late in the video.

Well ya know, ya could of tried to bring in a Piggie and loaded it up it's Food levels and fill inv full meats for in fight healings. And if wasn't for the time constraints, Megatheriums for spider fights and Theri for Doug fighting. Not sure how that could gone with your setup, but could had all 3 armies building same time.

You should try and beat ark but the catch is only while using a Super Dodo. So you're only able to tame 1 dodo, but the stats are turned up very high (damage must be lower to keep it balanced).

Dude going to scorched earth - to steal a wyvern egg - so u can do fire damage - to then try and tame the rarest creature in ark - so you can do the simple job of smelting METAL - so you can make a TEK REP - so you can make a TEK HELMET - ALL TO BEAT *ONE* CAVE. Is probably one of the craziest examples of either *insanity* or just sheer *mental fortitude* ever. W vid bro.

I'm going to say, I found this challenge incredible. Normally, I'm quite a fan of your creative solutions. But the workarounds that you did using dinosaurs instead of tech? Using dinosaurs as storage boxes, using dinosaurs to breathe underwater, using dinosaurs to hatch eggs, using an otter to protect from the heat/cold, using a Phoenix to make metal ingots! Hell, parachuting in to steal a dragon egg, raising the egg inside the ravine with several deadly Wyverns, and then leaving that ravine on a fully grown Wyvern? That was one of the most epic maneuvers I've ever seen. This was my favorite video of yours by far, so props to you! It's criminal what happened to you at the end.

Tip for next video: regularly use the command 'saveworld' to save your world. This way when you crash you don't roll back to the Stone Age every 2 seconds. Edit: actually ASA has a 'save world' button in the settings menu thing. Don't know exactly how it works, but you should probably try it.

Initially, I turned on this video so that something would play in the background, BUT as the plot progressed, I was increasingly surprised by the various solutions to a variety of problematic situations. Before that video, I didn’t even know that Dimetrodon is an air conditioner, Diplocaulus is an air balloon, Otter can protect not only from cold, but also from heat, and at the same time you can incubate a Wyvern egg with it. It was surprising how every basic action turned into a seemingly insurmountable obstacle, but soon such an unexpected solution was found. The developers clearly did not suspect that someone would be able to defeat the bosses alone at only level 1, which did not even give them the opportunity to start a battle with them (the moment with Boss Spider, the required level for the battle is 30). Your video breaks all the laws that this game stood for and it’s great. Thank you very much for this video!!!

Technically, you could do the swamp cave by only cheating in 1 item, the wooden chair. (Yes I'm serious) You could hunt alpha mosas and tuso to get a fishing rod, then you could get honey from the redwoods, and then start fishing until you get ghille blueprints which can be crafted from your inventory. Using those BP's, you could speedrun the cave, get the artifact, and run out, or you could slowly bring the artifact back little by little. Granted this is also very torturous but it would only require you cheating in one thing.

A twist on this same idea that would likely make it possible to beat the game but rely heavily on RNG, you’re allowed to level, but cannot spend a single engram point (if you misclick an engram console command a mindwipe tonic to clear the engram or just never ever use it)

And one other thing I just thought about that you could do is make it so you’re player level stat add is 0 so you are still essentially a level one, the one difference is basically going to be passive tames and you can open supply drops (unless I’m missing things as I have yet to play ascended and have less than 1000 hours in evolved)

Hello! I'm not sure how the item drop system calculates loot, but I remember seeing that ghillie can extend survivability in the swamp cave. I'm not sure if that was fixed or if alphas even drop it, but if you are ever looking to revisit the challenge, it might be worth looking into. One of the biggest brain vids I've seen in a while! A good strat for your base is to tame some small mounts like wolves, sabers, and others the same size. Then keep them on neutral and spread out while the breeders are passive. That way, you can keep the big Dinos organized a little better

Hey Juztify, here are some 'tips' to minimize crashes or atleast improve the games performance or something like that(ASA is not very optimized): 1. Open Task Manager and nuke your web brower(s) like Microsoft Edge and Google cuz they do run in the background(They are under Background processes) 2. type '%temp%' in your search thing next to the windows icon and clear the 'Temp' file 3. Try to disable or lower power and ram intensive settings 4. Maybe try to use Ulimate Performance mode for your PC (you can search that up) 5. clean your hardware? maybe re-apply thermal paste or something? 6. Question your sanity.

A little advice for future 100 days challenges: Because of how buggy Ark is, I think you should allow yourself to use console commands to get back items & tames that you lost to the game being buggy, like all of those tames that fell under the map or got stuck in walls cause that's what Zany Zebra does in his 100 days challenges, he only uses console commands if he was screwed over by a bug

id need to see this challenge done on a server, as i THINK. you only need to be high level to START the boss fight, but after its started i think you can just jump in and join, which... mean technically you could beat the island at lv1. as you yourself will never level up, but those around you can xD
