Seems you are biased. when I look i to MFP it tracks weight and measurments as well. Also Fibers etc. And the database of MFP is far superior when you go internationally, Mf is limited outside US.

MFP isn't able to track nearly as many micros. So if that's important to you Macrofactor is superior. You're 100% right though about MFP having a better international database. This is something I've said time and time again in several videos. If you live outside the US, this is definitely something to consider.

Seeing as you're promoting your affiliate discount, this is heavily biased, and basically an ad. Not what I was looking for.

Affiliate links are ways that content creators make money and there's definitely a right and a wrong way to do things. Let me explain: 1. 100% of the products we test are purchased at full price. As such, we retain complete editorial independence in our videos and never receive financial compensation from manufacturers for reviews. It makes no difference to us whether we love or hate the product - we simply tell you our candid opinion. We only become affiliates of products AFTER we test them, and none of our authors or video creators know which products we're affiliated with. Only the Founder, me (feastgood.com/about/about-avi-silverberg/), knows. We’ve published plenty of product reviews where after our testing process we very bluntly tell you we DO NOT think it’s a good product (i.e. RP Diet App). We're an affiliate for RP Diet, but we tell you our honest thoughts after multiple years of testing, and we leave it up to you to decide whether you want to use it (feastgood.com/rp-diet-app-reviews/). That brings me to the next point... 2. Any product or service we recommend has been first-hand tested. Believe it or not, many websites and KZbin channels claiming to review products simply rely on third-hand accounts by reading people’s experiences on Amazon or forum sites like Quora or Reddit. They have not actually tested the product themselves. This is why, for any product review we publish, we use the product for several days, sometimes weeks and months, before sharing our thoughts and opinions. In the case of MacroFactor, 2 people used MacroFactor for 1 month. Then, we published an article talking about our initial experience. We continued our subscription for 1-year to make sure we were updating our content accordingly. Only after that, did we publish this KZbin video because we know it's harder to update KZbin videos vs articles. When testing a product, we do so based on several criteria, which are specific to each product category. For example, when we’re evaluating a whey protein, we use criteria such as transparency, taste, mixability, satiety, price, and several other factors. Also, when possible, we test the claims made by the manufacturer for a specific product. We’re not just relying on a company’s sales page to tell us how a product performs, we actually try to stress test the product based on different use cases. In conclusion: While we do receive affiliate commissions for referring sales to specific products, if you end up being disappointed with our recommendation and don’t come back to our site or channel, we lose our audience. This is why we always set a very high standard for our review process, and constantly strive to provide the best, most honest, and most helpful information. Happy to hear your thoughts on this, too.

Have you reviewed FoodNoms? I’d love to know your thoughts on them compared to MacroFactor

Tbh I've never heard of FoodNoms before. I just Googled it and I'll test it out. It'll take at least 6 weeks to go through a thorough testing process and get a video live. So stay tuned.

umm there is one MASSIVE bad thing about mf and thats the fact there is no part of the app that trackes exersice or wieght lifting if here is can you let me know becuase i cannot find how to input my exersize into the app(the main reason i wanted the app)

I've tested A LOT of apps, and from my experience, there isn't an app that "does it all" really well. You either have nutrition trackers or fitness trackers, but not both. I mean, you can find examples, but like I said, they're not that good.

That's the same reason i canceled my subscription after a day. They already sync with Google Fit on Android, why not add the calories burned / steps taken like MyFitnessPal I understand that MF will adapt based on your weight, so if you eat the recommended amount + exercise MF will see that you lose weight too fast and will add calories but I like the gamification of weight loss, and to me MF is just another boring app where I go and log food but cant see any "rewards" from exercising

I use a whoop band that integrates with my fitness pal calorie wise. But I use a fitness app to track my fitness separate.

@@bayside833 it accounts for that by the weight on the scale basically. It will adjust if your activity goes up or down week per week.

I've used MyFitnessPal for 3 years and Macrofactor for 2.5 years and paid for both during those time periods. None of these companies paid me to make this video. Please explain what you mean when you say "paid ad".

@@AV-nf5hx Let me correct you. Affiliate links are ways that content creators make money and there's definitely a right and a wrong way to do things. 1. 100% of the products we test are purchased at full price. As such, we retain complete editorial independence in our videos and never receive financial compensation from manufacturers for reviews. They have not actually tested the product themselves. This is why, for any product review we publish, we use the product for several days, sometimes weeks and months, before sharing our thoughts and opinions. In the case of MacroFactor and MyFitnessPal, 2 people on our team used both apps - one has used MacroFactor for 2 years, one has used MyFitnessPal for 3 years. You can read more about that here: feastgood.com/macrofactor-review/ And here: feastgood.com/myfitnesspal-review/ After publishing our reviews, we continue our subscriptions so that we're updating our content accordingly. Apps change frequently and so our recommendations change too. When testing a product, we do so based on several criteria, which are specific to each product category.
