I am a filipino and i have been a huge fan of you for all these years. I've literally watched every single one of your video (even the cringe ones, yes). There are many ways to cook adobo and although my family don't cook it the way you did, i'll say that you were quite good. i really am happy that you've tried adobo out! Eating Filipino Foods for 24 hours when? I mean, you'll have to use your filipino ingredients somehow :>

As a Nigerian living in Nigeria (lagos state)... i clicked so fast on this video... for a first timer you did a really good job... Some of our popular food vloggers are Sisi Yemmie or zeelicious foods. They have the best recipes. Also garlic makes a world of difference as well..... and the peppered chicken and using chicken stock as well. If you ever want to visit Nigeria.... you're welcomed! and hope i meet you when you do.

I agree about the garlic! And add ginger !! Both can be blended with the other ingredients to incorporate.
@rachaelosei

But seriously yours looks great! I follow my mother in law's recipe and there's no measurements for rice to liquid, only to "use your judgement." It's the hardest thing to get right and looks like you nailed it!
@didistories

@@rachaelosei yes i blend my garlic with the tomatoes and still add a bit with onions when caramelizing it.... and then i use foil to cover the pot after i have added the rice.... it makes a different

Hey Taz, I have been watching you since 2016 also I'm a Filipino. Chicken Adobo is actually a very well known Filipino dish. Don't worry if you think you did not make it authentic because us Filipinos have our own different recipes of Adobo. You even made me crave it now. 😋😊

Tiramisù is also my favourite dessert! As an italian I must say that your tiramisù looks good, maybe you should've dipped the lady fingers a little bit more, but it's totally relative to personal taste. Try to make apple strudel o pumpkin pie just to go with the season 😍

The adobo version I learned from a Filipino chef was with pork belly instead of chicken. I think the meat can be optional just choose something you prefer. And I didn’t marinate it before cooking, left it to simmer until the meat is tender and flavourful then it’s done. He also said that add some chunky potatoes can make the sauce a bit thicker and like a stew. Adobo is so far my favourite Filipino dish, it’s easy to make and you don’t need to be super precise about it. Most importantly it’s tasty and goes well with rice😋 Love this type of videos that Taz experimenting on different stuff. Very satisfying👍

For an easy Moroccan recipe: Moroccan mint tea: 3 heaped tablespoons gunpowder tea, a big handful of fresh mint and hot water. Put the tea into a teapot, add the mint (stalks and all), pour boiled water into the teapot, let it sit for 15-20 minutes, pour out into a cup then pour the cup back into the teapot, repeat 5 times, then drink. Enjoy! Btw you can get gunpowder tea from Turkish or North African shops.

I would suggest wrapping your food in cling wrap before putting in the fridge so it doesn’t incorporate any of the smells from the fridge from other food and so it doesn’t go bad either. In this case your tiramisu. Also you’re meant to whip eggs and sugar and vanilla extract together over a pot of boiling water and then incorporate that with your whipped cream and mascarpone cheese, that’s the traditional Italian tiramisu.
