I tried doing the Ubers with Tal Rasha's Guardianship

I did a playthrough of Diablo 2 resurrected with a sorceress using the Tal Rasha set. I also went for the ubers.

IIRC, Kano's Uber Trists are done with a lightning sorc. Lightning packs more damage and you can keep your distance. There's a way to trap Mephisto's adds in a burnt out building. Never been able to do that myself because I've also wound up with Mephisto camping on the red portal. I don't do Uber Trist enough and I tend to panic!

If you're going to recreate this in HC may I suggest a fire sorc - meteor when fully synergised hits like, well, a meteor, and the fire mat it puts down will prevent regeneration. And you can spam fireball in between meteor casts. You just need a good fire sunder. I definitely think a sets only run would be interesting if you're up for the challenge.

Works shockingly well with a Dweb as weapon, and a stack of skillers. Poison Nova melts just about everything. Haven't even tried with a sunder charm yet, but that is probably super OP since the set gives a lot of poison resist and poison acts reasonably slowly anyway. BKWB for both rings, amulet and boots make up for any lack of resists. Torch, anni, turn off run (run and walk speed is the same when vampire) CtA on switch, or even Arm of King Leoric to prebuff skeletons, you can pretty much kill anything except ubers, and kill it resonably fast with 1point CE. With a perfect facet in each socket, perfect dweb and a sunder charm, no monster would EVER have positive poison resist, and that's before Lower Resist even factors in.

Man light Sorc through hell is pretty tough ! I managed my nova Sorc through on SP w/o infinity or skiller’s but it took a bit of trickery haha GG ! (I needed a good terror key farmer)

@@asbjrnfossmo1589 actually I did have her sit in act 1 till she was level 85+ then I just figured “might as well get a socket quest and hell forge out of this character”. She dropped an Ist and socketed a Shako for me single player SSF. By then she was pretty stacked outside of full skillers inventory and infinity so it took me about an hour.

Have you tried with fire sorc? I feel like with tal rasha set and phoenix shield fire sorc could do well in ubers especially mephisto if you have a sunder charm

I don't think it's realistic to farm the entire Tal set in a single SSF run :) At the point that you would complete the set I would have been able to clear the game many times over. So this is more of a showcase of what is possible with the set then a ssf run :)

I get that the Tal rasha sorc is the point of the video but thats whats stopping you as well. Ive done this many times on a sorc, the issue is, you dont have enough -Light res with the conviction. You need to hold the Infinity in a scythe, Merc with Insight, Griffons and a Vmagi with a -5 facet. Pure nova sorc/Energy Shield/Pure mana build. Yes, the blood mana curse is annoying and thats when you use full rejuvs to pot your way through it. Its possible easily withoutt the tals set. Id say, Tals set sorc is best on a cold sorc, not so much on a light sorc. Fun video tho, I admire the persistence to get it done.

As you said. Doing it with Tals is the whole point. Even though this was my first time ever doing ubers with a sorc I don't think I would have any trouble doing it with the godly setup. I'm gonna do tal cold and fire sorc at some point as well. I just felt like playing a lightning sorc :) Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed the video
