Hey, Im a freelance editor myself and i wanted to give you some tips i had to learn the hard way. Stop treating the long form edit like an amv and try to sync the sound effects perfectly then make them really subtle and quiet because its competing with your voiceover.

6:51 ill give you one tip, i feel like this short should have had some music in the background to make it more immersive, if with "normal" music the video sounds too busy then you can try adding some ambient soundscape-ish music/beats because they dont take alot of focus away from the talker
