Great video! Julia Adams pointed out that the Kosas shade Swoon appears to be the only shade with noticable little sparkles, & I agree - out of the 3 shades I got, & all three are stunning, Swoon is the only one with a teeny bit more sparkle, even accounting for induvidual variations in the swirl pattern. Hope that helps someone re shade selection. xo

Honestly, I don’t think Dior blushes are anything to write home about, especially for the price. The formula itself is really not unique or particularly well-performing (I’m a cosmetic chemist and have formulated blushes in the past)- I would try the rare beauty luminous blushes if you like a glow and if you want to spend half the money of the dior formulas!

I do love the kosas blushes but I feel like they will hard pan quickly and start cracking like their powders. I like the Dior bronze color. Is there a more affordable option you can recommend for that color. I’m thinking there’s a Benefit one I have that might be similar. Thanks for this video, Morgan. You highlighted some products that I’m curious about. I was interested in the Lawless blushes but you seemed lukewarm about them. I’m interested in the Haus Lab glossy balm blushes. I tried the Kosas blush in Euphoria. I like it. I’m going to get more colors in Butterflies and Adrenaline. I have the Danessa Myricks Unbothered lowlighter and I wore it with my Danessa Myricks It Girl blush and it looked pretty on me. I may get another color, the bronze color. I have the Dior pink lilac color. It’s pretty but I have to build it up. You influenced me on the bronze glow. I’ll probably pick that up next. I have the Dior liquid highlighter maxmizer in bronze. It’s beautiful and I just wore it to an event in NY. I’m going to pick up another color in Rosy.

I have five shades of the Nyx blushes and I’m loving them so much for my medium skin tone. The pigment is definitely a lot but a fluffier brush saved my butt. 😂 The ones that are more shimmery I use more of a blush topper but the others I love the lit from within glow they have! And that’s coming from someone who doesn’t like glowy anything with texture and growing up with oily skin 😅. Oh and the Kosas blushes. 😭 I purchased Euphoria when they first dropped and fell in love immediately along with Bliss.

waittt. you need to try the new kylie cosmetics blush stick. its cream to powder and im shook at the formula. i put it on top of my powder and it dries down as powder. idk ive never seen anything like it before... soo good and the pigment is there!!!

Not really impressed with most of these except the fenty one, if you ask me, MAC does make great powder blushes from the start, and I love the milk jelly blush for its incredible lasting power, i wore it for a day and half straight in extremely hot and humid weather and would wash my face frequently with water only and it was still there the next day. And for cream blushes that are also quite long lasting I'd recommend makeup by mario. These are my favs and I'll keep repurchasing as long as they continue making them

Kosas being so good I think is a good reminder and learning moment for me that swatch expectations for blushes vs eye shadows might need to be different. Eye shadows I want a lot of pigment b/c I want them to show. Blushes I don't want too much pigment in one swipe b/c I want them buildable and I don't want to have to work to sheer it out. I'm glad for all the mentions you gave to the blush b/c I definitely wrote it off when I first swatched it in Sephora.

Kosas in my opinion is doing nothing new. Laura Geller baked blushes and Hourglass baked marbled blushes work the same way, are good in quality and pigmentation, and have been around for so long! Danessa Myricks Lowlighters are lovely! They work so well on top of a cream or powder blush and looks good on my textured, dry skin. I think you need to find a way to make them work. It is actually meant for people with oily skin though as it has Upsalite.

for the maybelline one, ingredient matters, if the blush is water based and foundation is oil based (or the other way around) of course it's going to act funny ! Can different base makeup products work together? Yes, but mostly, even more if it's water vs oil base, they are not going to play well together

I agree about the rare beauty blushes. I thought I would love them and don’t. It is only great as topper over matte blush. Super disappointed in them. NARS is just classic good. I ordered 2 of the kosas but it reminds me of the Laura geller and the milani baked blush. Thanks for sharing. ❤

The rare beauty was atrocious unless I covered it with another blush qnd more foundation,then it gave a lit from within gloq but Im not buying product to bury it. The fenty was better was the gold glitter was too evident and ruined it for me. The kosas was pretty but too dry on my cheeks and I like dewy blush,I dont even own powder blush and havent in years. The dior sounds perfect for me and my fair skin but its too pricey for blush for me. I plan on buying the Nyx,the new morphe silk blush,the huda beauty lip and cheek stain,make up by mario cream blush and the clinique cheek pop today to try. The glass ones looks a bit too dewy.

Theirs so many that look alike when it comes to the pinks I think the Nars pink is Gorgeous I'm a big fan of The original Orgasm. The first 2 in the pinks were very pretty. I did not like the Nyx too much too overwhelming. I definitely gravitate towards the skin finish blushes. The Kosas was very pretty in the pinks.

I love the LYS blush....I agree, super pigmented, but I actually prefer strong color on my cheeks. I still have to be careful with that, though. I also love the Haus Labs blush sticks, I've tried glassy lilac and glassy pitaya, and I love both! The Rare Beauty liquid blushes are also really good.

Must find the Kosas here in Europe, and I mean European Economic Union (to avoid customs and high shipping). Dior ones I have and love Rosy. Also love love love the Star Filter mixed with my foundation (one only pump though). I'm only into powder blushes now or liquid that gives slight luminous finish and work perfectly with foundations, powders etc. Left the creams, I'm done with SO many steps, and of course balms are a big NO NO...don't need sticky on my face

Morgan, the DM Unbothered left me "Bothered"! What can I do to make that work??? It really does not work as a blush, highlight or lipstick! It also accent your texture. The other shades don't do that. The sparkle/glitter does not blend well with the color of the blush/highlight/lipstick/whatever it is. If I can't find what to use it for, it is going back. I will be interested to know if anyone has had any success with it and if so how? I like these kind of videos Morgan. Keep them coming! 🙌🏽💯✌🏽
