Sass & Glam beauty/fashion you are right, but I was thinking at something else (I might sound mean, I apologize): they are the big influencers with many subscribers, whom they “teach”, they should be able to keep up with each other’s tutorials, to know how to adapt styles to their own face/eye shape, to understand that some colours don’t work on them, to get it that if they have dry skin they should prep it like they always do and not how someone with normal or oily skin does and so on. Just some common sense. I won’t be doing a cut crease till I know the basics.

They have a lot of similar features (bone structure: high cheeks and angled jaw, nose shape: long slender bridge, button tip, small nostrils, full lips). Generally you wouldn't necessarily think that these two look alike on their own but side- by- side... idk I just see it

I love that your videos just are a lot more relaxed. A lot of the remarks you said about “did I take it too high? I super appreciate that you posted this even though you weren’t super happy with the end look! I think it’s important for us subscribers to see that makeup is so based on eye shape - Nikki is super talented but most of her looks work because she barely has a crease and has so much lid space. I 100% know what you where going through. I recently tried to recreate one of your looks (no lie) I didn't go step by step I had just watched it, I just left the finished look on my phone screen and went from there. Oh boy did I get frustrated, In the exact same way you did I wasn't bringing the transitions colours high enough then when going in with the lid colours it took out the transition colours AHHHH SO FRUSTRATING. You are also very correct too when your talking about different eye shapes and sizes, it all makes a difference. I use go be a mua had to stop due to incurable brain disease /disorder but I still love my makeup and every now and then when the pain is at a 7/10 or lower (but that's Very rare) I give it a go, it help me keep my mind of the pain and I get to be creative. Just as you said as well it's easier to come up with your own look than recreate someone else's. My one other thing though is I'm better at putting makeup on someone else's than myself, always have been even though now I have blind spot in my vision and my peripheral are basically non existent that's what makes it harder for me now to do my own makeup but I've always just been better doing a client makeup rather than my own. Any how I feel your pain and anguish and understand completely. Love you xoxo

AmaVintage you probably don't have to put it all over the lid, just in the crease. But she probably did it to intensify the darker shades. Like some use black as a base to make the color really pop and very rich. I hope I make sense. Lol.

all the people saying the foundation color is too light ; heres some facts. fenty beauty has less colors then alot of brands a darker shade is too dark its her body it suits her perfectly!
