I agree calling food gross/ weird could certainly hurt some of you but she of course didn't mean to offend anyone/ any culture. The reaction was almost like feeding a vegetarian person meat. Let's just acknowledge the fact that she was overcame her fears while shooting this!

Totally agree. Not only is it grossly insensitive to the people who traditionally eat them, this attitude is also embedded in food racism and food elitism. The idea being that 'less civilized' people consume lungs, kidneys and brains of animals! In many western countries people can't stand the smell of Indian cuisine too as they find it overpowering, but its our daily food that we cherish. Not to mention consuming every part of an animal is linked with reduced food wastage and less carbon footprint. I'm sure the team can do better than this!

I'm a bihari and trust me in the lower strata of bihari families.. there is the practice of eating paaya ( called gori in bihari ) , lungs and intestine ( called chusta and chargauda) the brain ( called magaj) and to be honest I enjoy eating all these.

Tenzing going around and trying different food is great, I would have a major mental block and not be able to eat it when I get to know what I am eating. I have heard from so many of my friends and also on yt videos different countries eating different animals and organ parts that I never thought could be even eaten. But these videos are very interesting and educational to see how in India itself different places have their cultural food including unusual food items.

@@tanishabc983 maybe it is wrong to kill animals and eat nonveg but isn't she eating it and making a show and earning money based on other people's traditional food?? So if she can eat it and make money from eating their food I don't think she has the right to call it gross. And also eating habits are based on the environment and availability of food. So in a place where vegetation is scares animals are the only option. And the justification you're giving for her calling other's food gross is like justifying some rich/ foreign person calling a normal middle class indian poor for not being able to afford an avocado. You may not be able to understand the analogy but i don't blame you for that.
