I Tried Golfing With INFINITY Ranked Players!

Today I matched up with infinity ranked players to see how I fair. My all-time win rate against infinity ranked players is probably around 20-25%. It's simple mistakes like the par on hole 4 that are keeping me from being on the same level as these players. This is fine if I want to reach infinity rank in golf, since coming 2nd or 3rd in these lobbies I don't lose rank. The quarter of the time I do win would be enough to slowly but surely rank me up to infinity.
Maintaining infinity rank will be the hard part. I will have eliminate these avoidable mistakes that I tend to make at least once every few games to be more competitive with these players. I am close, but not there yet. With more game practice and less frequent tilts, I'll reach the level necessary to maintain infinity rank.

See, that first putt you made was an amateur mistake. You have to remember that a shot that hits the very beginning of the hole is going to go in just as much as one that hits the end, so you ALWAYS lead your putt with slightly extra distance away from the direction of the curve of the ground. If there's a slight curve on a short putt, it's stupid to line the line up with the edge of the hole. Put a bit of space between the line and the hole, cus you want to aim for the edge of the hole as the hole space is still a sunk putt. lining up with the edge of the hole isn't taking the width of the hole itself into account, which you should be doing. lead your putt a bit, & use the width of the hole as extra wiggle room. Not sure exactly how to put it into words.... but it's something to think about if you understand what I'm getting at. When you line it up with the edge of the hole you run the risk of missing the hole on the other side of it if the slope is too steep. For ground that is curving to the right, if you consider the fact that the left edge of the hole is just as good as the middle, then you have extra wiggle room there, aka basically the width of the hole itself. Always lead your putts a bit when lining them up, which you didn't do on that first putt. There's no reason at all not to.
