One thing that's true and cannot be argued about is how HoK's matchmaking system is miles ahead better than ML's, being able to set 2 roles you can play and actually be paired up with players who play the other roles makes the game so much more enjoyable as I'm not forced to play support every single match, nor will I have to deal with 3 idiots all fighting over the jungler role. Are there any negatives, nearly every character having a dash skill can depend on the person but yea. Matchmaking, HoK takes the W. Personal opinion here, the Arcana/Emblem system, I'd say HoK takes the W too. ML feels like it takes way too long than it should to max out every emblem. On the other hand HoK saves you from the redundancy of having to worry about having to grind not only for characters but also Arcana (In ML terms, Emblems.) making it beginner friendly. To each their own opinion. But personally, HoK has better QoL features (the best being the matchmaking system) that ML could've easily added but for some reason refuses to. Btw this is coming from someone who's played ML since 2016✌.

I agree so much with the matchmaking system for MLBB. I play mid/gold/roam and will sometimes jungle as Julian if needed. I can't tell how many times I would have to dodge a match because my 2 or 3 teammates only know one lane or one hero, and/or I get forced to play Exp Lane, a lane that which I'm terrible at. I'm also pretty sure there is a feature on the profile page that lets you choose your main role... like what is the point if I'm rarely the role I chose due to the terrible matchmaking.

Idk Hok gameplay feels very wonky to me and since I was winning like 10+ matches in a row I started noticing how I would stay in a Bush and the enemies would track me down emidiatly, I knew they were bots because once I stayed in a Bush and one of them kinda lagged stayed near the bush running in circles like it was tracking me. Other thing is the power imbalance beetwen heroes is very weird to me. Most mobas with quick matching systems are filled with bots.

I played HoK and the learning gap in this game is nearly similar to LoL in many ways. Because of the smooth and less wonky animations of the game, the fate of the game is SOLELY decided on how well you can manage your lanes and how well you could hold yourself well in the early stages of the game unlike in MLBB where there's always an instant backswing and movement animation which has a heavy impact on how the gameplay works. If you fall behind, pretty much you're going to be snowballed by the enemy who did better than you in lane. Not only that, when you play the heroes, you would want to worry about your team composition. This is VERY important because it emphasizes the teamplay aspect of MOBA games. You would expect that you're going to be smooth sailing because you did well against who you're against, right? Wrong. Even if you own your enemy in this game but your teammates are meat cannon fodder, you're pretty much gonna lose because their combined synergies as they grew through the whole game - even if not coordinated well, can still crush you in one clash. In MLBB, the focus leans in on how well you could hone the hero you play first and how you can apply this knowledge in controlling the map. You can train yourself to play your hero well and then YOU can learn how to utilize your hero to control how the game will go based on their skillset. This is because of the wonky but instant flicks of animations like turning, dashing, blinking, and release of basic attack projectiles that can pretty much give you an edge in turning terrible plays to sudden wins with the right situations. As someone said it before me; no matter how bad you play and no matter how much you feed, there's still always a chance you can win the game. In HoK? Nah, not really since everyone plays an important role while in MLBB, your feeding allies can still be carried depending on how well you can use them as fodder. Tl;dr: HoK's gameplay animations affect the game so hard that it made it harder to play while MLBB's quick animations got players to easily learn the heroes and use it to control the game.

That's basically what mlbb players are unaware of. I've basically played every moba there is for the longest time (excluding jump assemble and the likes), and out of all of them MLbb is probably the easiest of them all. The trickiest thing about Dota, Lol and even HoK is the animation scaling that's almost instantaneous in Mlbb. Backswings and skill cast delays are literally a no-brainer for you in ml, you don't need to calculate much in order to execute a victory. One player can literally save a dying match by just managing a 1 vs 5, while in the other 3 MOBAs getting an epic comeback is as rare as winning a lottery. So yeah, i agree with your statement. Hopefully more people read this and they get educated.

I tried HoK and in my perspective, HoK and MLBB are one in the same thing. Have been playing different MOBA games from 2013 and i gotta say this. MLBB is very good game. But the players should stop talking about HOK, LOL and Dota-2 copying Mobile legends. It's the other way around. Mlbb is the one copying them all. Montoon even give 2.9 million dollars compensation to Tencent for copying their game. Coming from Mlbb and already progressing through Hok, i do see alot of peoples gripes about both game. Hok was such a very obscure game so of course alot of ml Players wont know, unless you watched the KZbiner AskVell before, where he made a comparison about MLBB and Vain Glory (Hok original title). As for my personal opinions on the game im kinda liking it more than ml not because its better but the character fantasy of some characters are such a drastic change from ML heroes. Take Dolia for example, im currently maining her and what makes me enjoy playing this character is not the overall playstyle of refreshing your allies ults, but its more of how she perfectly embodies the fantasy of a "Mermaid Champion" Her playstyle basically depends wether your in human or mermaid form which alot of similar themed character never got to perfect. You could say "nami is a mermaid champion why doesn't she fit that fantasy?" Well its more so that she feels like a waterbender first foremost and her being a Mermaid/Marai is an after thought. My point is some of HOK character where made with the thought of making the characters first before making their kit, which is quite a rare thing most moba game do right now since alot of characters just have this random sets of skills that doesn't really make sense within the characters which i admit hok does also have. This doesn't mean one game is better than the other, and hok marketing of bashing Mlbb was still a low blow and pretty unprofessional.

I tried it yesterday, and the only problems i have are: - Disgustingly unbalanced stats. Some mages can deadass delete half of your hp with a regular skill at mid game if they are fed enough (Yes, a game that says that it's better than MLBB manages to be more unbalanced than MLBB itself) - Absolutely terrible voice acting. I don't need to explain this one, but i will say that the Russian dub for this game is even more terrible than the English dub, so yeah i'll probably switch to the Japanese dub just so that my ears won't suffer In all other aspects it's pretty much the same as MLBB, except HoK has much more free stuff (But tbf with recent events MLBB is steadily getting close to HoK's level of free skins, heroes and etc.). But to be fair AoV (Which was supposed to be the "International" version of HoK) also has a shit ton of free stuff Edit: One guy in the replies also mentioned the fact that majority of desighs for human characters are boring, and i agree with that. I love this Channel, i'm even subscribed. But the HoK slander is just cancerous. Mlbb community hates the game simply BEACAUSE. They keep talking smack knowing damn well Hok got it beat in a lot of areas Especially the difficulty levels MLBB is way easier than HOK. Honor of Kings needs actual team work as compared to Mlbb(where you just pick an overpowered assassin/marksman who recently got a buff because they have a new skin coming out and carry the whole season). Hok skins are just as good as those in ML Gameplay depends on your style, do you want quick and easy OR even getting to the point of using actual math calculations to execute a kill. Player base goes to MLBB Matchmaking I won't even talk about it, if you've played ML you know. MLBB has more sensitive controls, on my ipad, HOK is almost unplayable because the movement sensitivity is so low that i could barely move my character. Melee feels clunky while some marksmen do feel better than MLBB. Tanks and Mages are way better in MLBB. So I basically only play marksman in HOK and it's kinda fun, but the other roles just aren't as good.

I've played HOK beta and they give skins in beta secondly HOK just released what do you expect? Ik the ui is kinda meh rn. The ads is illegal but you need to add some bad chemicals to a product to make it perfect Hok marketing is diff i mean they emailed a bunch of ml creators to switch to thier game isn't that a good marketing, they did not do the kind of marketing strat that wildrift did after launching thier game, wildrift hired famous ppl that don't play wild rift. @@bioy2646 ML has its own issues like players not adjusting roles which is the biggest thing that hold back players in ranking up. still not on GM at HoK but if i keep playing with 2 lanes im assigned i would expect it to be easier than ML. in ML im mainly Mid and Exp laner, very high win rate but most of my rank games i play Support/Tank because no one adjusts and most players do not like that role. I don't really enjoy tank/support role but I'd rsther play it than lose

Tbh both are good, the people comparing are just the same like lol players hating on mlbb and Dota players hating on lol players. The cycle continues, anyways I play both and I enjoy both! Mlbb is fun and the mini games are more diverse, the characters are fun. But it all goes down to what you're used too, mlbb is early to use and has alot more things (imo) but hok has alot of cute things like the second skills, ults and skins are cute. Heck I think there's a character that when reaches lvl 4 they just avoid walls (but I don't remember that much) Both are good, it's just what you're used to and what you enjoy. Don't trash on either games! Also there are good hok adds :)

The marketing strategy that this game has garnered through aggressive "callouts" and comparisons of it apart from a particular game named M*BB is nuts. It really did make its place up to the tops as it gained attention and curiosity, especially with it investing on sponsorships and "free skins" campaign across the community of MLBB. However, it's not like I chose to play ML to show how much skins I would've gotten but just to feel the thrill in spite of how stressful and toxic it can get. Coc is the best, chill, and cozy gameplay I could've gotten. But no in orher time would I be there to play random games just because it is popular unless you have the necessities, especially to download the whole package of that game.

As someone who played AoV when it came out in 2016, i was excited for HoK Honest review: HoK has the better graphics and reward system than MLBB and it’s cheaper in terms of skin details, a 10$ skin would have the same particles and offers as a 20 or gacha skin in MLBB the only drawback i saw is the smoothness of the combos, i’m accosting to clicking an ability and during the animation i press the other one so it activates as well but here is SOOO delayed, especially in Heroes like Mai(from King of fighters) dhe is Raz from AOV but even with a 1:1 abilities she is terribly slow and clunky
