I LITERALLY just made several of these but Gluten Free (Celiac here) The frosting you made is actually what they used to call "Boiled Frosting " It was made during the Depression and WWII when rations were a thing. It was something families could make and spread on slices of bread, crackers, cakes (if it were a special occasion) etc. My Nana taught me Boiled frosting ❤❤ Also- you can easily use Coconut Oil to thin your chocolate as well. Much easier for people to have on hand than the flakes ❤

As a firefighters daughter, please tell people what to do if when working with hot frying oil it catches fire. Never ever put water on the fire, it will explode. Put on a lid and turn the heat off, never peep under the lid. If you don’t have a lid or fire blanket, use a damp NOT WET tea towel. And never ever leave hot oil unattended.
