The nice thing about fountain pens is that they are a one time cost. Once you buy one, you can keep refilling it with whatever ink you wish. This means that fountain pens are more sustainable, and over time, the nib conforms to the way you write, getting more comfortable over time. But yes, Gaiman writes with a pilot custom 823, which is about $300 and some change.

Highly recommend a Lamy Safari as a starter fountain pen. Only about $40 and you can get little refillable ink cartridges if you don’t want to commit to a whole jar of ink and a plunger.

I write my novels by hand and use BIC round stic / med. and use mead 5 star notebooks. I feel way to tense to write in a fine bound notebook 📓 I loved your video it’s very warm and relaxing 😌
