I like perfect blocking skills being a thing, i like the power rushes which beat super armor, I like the awakening variations, and I like using half your evasive bar to perform a counter which works on like anything. The combat feels really fun, and the movesets actually feel well designed. That's what I like about it.

@Leafangel That's because the game is new. Did you expect 50+ characters for the release of the game? It needs time is all and the players themselves need to have faith in these devs. ABA started small aswell with a roster of only 3-4 characters on release. Thats way smaller than what SU has with 17 characters. As long as they update consistently with good quality content, it shouldn't fail.

@@rykage149 nope but its still never gonna beat aba, people like aba because its simple, has tons of characters ALREADY released with a ton releasing too, its easy to run and the combat doesn't feel wonky. SU has way too much stun and its way too combo reliant for people to actually have a good time on, sure, aba has stun and one shot combos as well, but im a public server player, most people are public server players wether you like it or not, and i assure you aba publics are a lot funner than SU publics, su publics are literally the most scuffed thing ever (theres no reason some moves should have a whole second of stun the moment it even BRUSHES against you). the game is gonna die in a month max. People wanna have fun, they dont want fancy pvp. Please take a second and actually notice how even if these games dont die, they always end up having less than aba.

@Leafangel ABA pubs are 100% not more fun when you have shit that one shots and not one person either. They normally get less players due to the large roster (6-7 year old game) and the fact that it has a very dedicated community that have already put alot of time into the game. ABA can go from fun to unfun really quickily when you're on the recieving end of it. Especially when one m1 gurantees you dead. Most of these type of games die because they give up on them. Look at AxS or any other battle arena. Most of them havent been updated in a while. Like I said it is all in a matter of time. As the roster grows with more content, the more attention it will garner.

@@rykage149 ? literally just block the one shots. the only aoe one shots in the game that are a genuine detriment and not a minor inconvenience is whitebeard's. Everything else barely gives points, is easily blockable, or is mid. This isnt 2022 aba anymore, i play publics everyday, one shots aren't an issue that automatically makes you win anymore. Its about consistent point gain now. You can genuienly win with every character (with obvious exceptions) as long as you know what you're doing. also dont care about ranked, im purely talking publics, you wont be getting one shot combo'd most of the time because the skill ceiling isnt big. now, for SU, its just severely slow and just pretty trash, its impossible doing combos when people come up and interrupt you every 3 seconds, moves dont have hyperarmor on startup either so they'll be cancelled a lot of the time. Thats what makes aba funner too, your moves dont get cancelled the instant someone breathes on you, it has a better neutral game (like homura mentioned), all SU has are m1s. I literally cannot think of a single move (outside of awakenings) in SU that are uncancellable and you can get consistent damage with. SU is heading in the right direction, but what it DESPERATELY needs is better neutral gameplay and a LOT more characters, they can have the absolute best quality of life updates, but if they dont start pumping characters out the wazoo the game is just doomed to fail.

It is a challenge to do that as not only does it have a large roster as it's been out for 6-7 years now but, it also has a community of people that have been playing for years and have gotten accustomed to it. I see no reason for the game to "kill" ABA. It wasn't made for that purpose but to be a fun game.

Game is actually so mid dude M1s feel weird, all ur moves get canceled when you get hit by literally a gust of wind, character balanced is awesome! Yuji has infinite extenders for some reason, tanjiro is braindead, evasive isn't even that useful cuz it fills up only once/twice per life, u either play hella passive or lose the m1 trade, also characters are so mid like the effect and moves aren't even that exciting comparing it to AS Anyways both games make me want to end it

The game is...fine. That's about it. Non ranked is total chaos where you can barely get a single combo in before you're hit by 4 nuke moves from across the map, and the balance is all over the place. Is it fun? Sure...maybe 25% of my matches were fun. Has the exact issue as aba where it's just frustrating to play. M1 fishing and holding block seems to win every match unless you're playing a character with very good guard breaks or combo starters.
