Thanks for posting this! I just picked this up as it was still on sale at DSG. I think they will work better for me than other Pumas with the lower stack and slight rocker. The magmax gave me hip pain and also aggravated my achilles tendonitis. These Knits mini-mags may be what I need instead. Anxious to try these now!

Got them for $50 at champs during Black Friday. One of my favorite sneakers of the year.. so easy to run in, good stability, not so squishy that it’s like running in mud but nice enough bounce from the high stack, and doesn’t feel heavy. Reminds me of the triumph 20 with a little more padding in the front.

i was ready to sign up for 1$ but i missed it before the increase. A 5x increase is a little steep. if you look at it in percent it feels even worse. Imagine if your favorite company jacked the price of their product 400% over night. Love the content!

Good thing he didn’t start at $.01 per month. Could you imagine if the increase was 49,900%?!? 😂

I think the numerical scale for the midsole density that you did in this video would be helpful in all of your reviews.

I agree that Pumas can be a good "one shoe" because the Nitro foam is very resilient and won't flatten out if you walk around all day and then take them for a run. The Nitro will also retain its consistency over 100's of miles, as evidenced by my 650+ miles in the Deviate Nitro 2.

you are totally right about the recovery...it is all in the pace........ in the old world, before internet and smart watches, before gps and know it all influencers......there was the Oracle of Delphi, where you got your answer, when you were recovered from a race: After a marathon you need one day per mile you ran to recover, which summs up to 26 days.... after an ultra you need one hour per mile you ran to recover, in your case the wpnderful number of 31 hours......so you are ready to rumble now....as i said it is never the distance, it is always the pace, which kills us

There are some new very beautiful colors launched for the ForeverRun Nitro ! This makes me wonder if indeed we will see a ForeverRun Nitro 2 in 2025 . I'm loving my Magmax Nitro and it is has a score of 8/10 for now at ~40 miles . One thing that Puma needs to get right is the jumping puma logo in the forefoot that it is in a bit different position in the left and right shoes. I saw this on my Velocity Nitro 3 and in the new Magmax. Needs a bit more quality control for this detail ...

I learned a long time ago to take the insoles out of my shoes when I take them off..the shoe and the insole airs out and dries out and lasts longer..they have a chance to decompress.. I rarely use the shoes more than once a week..I wish someone would make GOOD insoles..I've never had an insole that doesn't have my forefoot impression crushed into it by 50mi..the cushioning is toast at that point..the only one that works for me is the last version of Saucony endorphin line..the 1 you put in your SB doesn't work for me cos it gets too hot on the bottom of my feet..another great video..😊

How do you feel about them for long walks? I currently use my ghost max 2 but looking for an additional pair lol
@FreshInLif8 күн бұрын
@@dannydevito2587 I think it would be good for long walks. I don't try ghost max 2 but this shoe is very stable and I feel like it's not easy for me to pick up some pace with it. (I'm slow runner. My jog pace is around 10~11 per miles) So it worth trying if you can get it with discount price and if it's not your walking shoes, you can use it with warm casual go-to-mart shoes.

So between the Saucony Surge and Puma Foreverun Nitro Knit, which would you choose?
@supwell7 күн бұрын
Surge is all about comfort and cushion while the nitro knit is more versatile - I was running some decently fast paces in it. So ForeverRun nitro if I could only have one. Surge for walking and if comfort is number one

I almost signed up for $1/month. I was *this* close. Unfortunately, a five-fold increase in price is out of reach for me these days; it's all adding up big time and I'm counting cents, not to mention dollars. I would imagine it's a great value for some people but I think most US runners going into '25 will have a hard time giving it a try. The problem is, you have a group (a minority group) who laugh at the idea that $5/mo is anything to think twice about, "like what, that's a cup of coffee... right?". Then you have the majority of runners watching KZbin who realize $60/year could buy a good burr grinder to make those cents-for-a-cup pour overs what they should be... and that's how we've got to spend our money. $5 is either a joke or part of a small fortune depending on who you ask, little in between, and for most of us, it's something we need to save for another day. There's no guarantee I'm going to find any used shoes worth buying once I sign up, and unfortunately I just don't have the desire to make my personal community any more "online"... I already have too many reasons to pick up my phone. What's funny is that the small, privileged group able to add on another $5/mo subscription aren't really the ones who need the cheap used running shoes. I hope you can find other ways to monetize as your site grows!! I don't think anyone would bat an eye if you starting collecting 5% on all Supwell sales... In the meantime, though, I enjoy what you share here and I would love to see you engage and draw in like SJD used to... going deep into the filming, the story... creating little gems that people just had to watch every morning. He made a good little penny during his good KZbin years, yeah? That's just me though. You aren't SJD and you've got a vision to pursue. Congratulations on the super strong year of running. It's impressive and I hope you continue to succeed and grow!!

@jaclight918 күн бұрын
Not the op, but I would. $5 per month is a little steep for supwell in its current form with its current offerings
@supwell8 күн бұрын
Thanks for the feedback jaclight - in your opinion what would make it worth $5 that it's currently lacking?
@jardesto8 күн бұрын
I’ve saved ~$300 over the course of ~4 shoe purchases and also sold ~$300 worth of shoes that didn’t work for me or that I just wanted to move on from. If you’re active in the shoe market, $1 or $5 doesn’t make a big difference. I also spend about as much time reading and writing on the forums as I do watching Netflix these days, so view the price as a discount on entertainment as well. My two cents. Er um my five dollars…

I was disappointed in the OG Magnify Nitro--the dual foam used just killed everything that I love about the bounce and energy return of Nitro. The Magnify Nitro 2 is completely different from the OG and closely related to the MagMax. It was my favorite max stack until the MagMax and Glizzy appeared.
