Just did this style for the 2nd time and I love it because it's less tension on your scalp and I'm tenderheaded. It also saves times and gets all your hair together at the roots making the braids look fresh.

I have the hardest time gripping. When I finally get the braid attached it's not as close as the root as it should.. I than can braid fast but the start is the issue. I did maybe 25 box braids tonight, didnt finish my hair. Think I will take them out and try rubberband method.

@@Theekaybae aw bless it probably didnt look that bad. But we learn from our mistakes and try again. I wanted to braid my hair but sadly all the stores are closed and I cant get my hair!!!!! Especially living in the uk, those African beauty supply hair stores were the only places I bought my products mainly because they had such a wide variety . Hopefully the stores will open soon after this whole virus thing is over and I can finally braid my hair.

Update alert: I did my braids and they look amazing. People are complimenting and everything. Mind you this is my very first time doing it. Time consuming though started at 6PM ended at 10 something close to 11PM. Thanks so much again.

Take your time and dont rush with the braid...stay on your head until u get to the nape then go...pull it in to align it

It depends on how many times your wrap the rubber band around. You should never do it more then 5 times because when you are attaching the braid on, your adding some more pressure 🤷🏽♀️
