If you already have a Redbubble account, consider uploading your art to Teepublic as well. I've found that new uploads get surfaced and sold more often on Teepublic, whereas I tend to get Redbubble sales only on uploads that are months or years old. ► Selling Art on TeePublic - What You Need to Know: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5LCn5mJqdmWnK8 ► *Start a TEEPUBLIC shop for selling your art: tee.pub/lic/IvyLily Sorry for the bad audio at parts. I filmed the "talking head" portions in this room for the first time and didn't realize it would echo so bad. TIMESTAMPS 0:00 Trying to sell Jurassic World fan art legally 1:24 They'll terminate my account, if I do this... 2:24 What I tried instead 4:32 3rd attempt 6:48 What a strange reply 8:33 Did I sell anything? DISCLAIMER If you start your Teepublic shop through my * link, I'll get $1 of every sale you make. This doesn't affect your profits in any way, so it's a free way for you to support this channel, if you find any of my videos useful.

I got the same issue because of fan art. I followed everything to the letter. It's crazy that they do this to people when they have a fan art program. Seems like they WANT people to just go sell their stuff illegally.

Well, Redbubble terminated my account the first day I opened it because I wanted to change my username into something other than my first name. I never bothered with them after that, they seemed too temperamental!

Wow, it's a shame they did that to you. I've wanted to change my Redbubble username too to match what I use elsewhere online, but I think it would break all the old links, so I haven't tried changing it.

Interesting video and process. I believe the first artwork was rejected due to strong similarity with the official trademarked logo.

Ummmm it says "don't use film logo alone" at 5:05

I assume that means their actual logo, not my drawing of it. Plenty of people are doing the logo alone, but with different effects/styles.

It still depicts their logo. This is 100% not legal. But ye u can still get away with this, Idc tbh.

redbubble is sketchy. Even if your artwork is original with zero reference to existing thing, they'll suspend your account anyway and lock your artwork in there. They give you no reason for the suspension either. You'll need to contact them to delete your account indefinitely or they'll sell your art in there and profit off of it while you're still suspended.

Is there a chance it was violating some other guideline instead of copyright?
@yamchayaku
@yamchayaku Жыл бұрын
@@IvyLilyCreative nope, my friend was trying to sell stickers of their original characters there, then suddenly got a suspension not even an hour later. They did nothing to help them and only gave canned responses so they had to tell redbubble to delete their account.

How did they delete your stuff, they don’t have the access for it, but life is about making people happy. But you can’t own an idea.

This is what the email said: "We recently received a complaint from someone alleging that products you offered for sale on the Redbubble marketplace violate their rights. Sadly, this means we had to remove them from the marketplace. If you were recently notified that your submission was approved for the Fan Art Partner Program, please keep in mind that all officially-approved content in this program is subject to additional review at any time by Redbubble and the Partner, who reserves the right to make a different decision upon further review."

I'm planning to sell my own fan arts from my favorite characters. Though I found out that some creators don't allow it.😒

Hello, Can I have question? I already have account by teepublic. How join the fan art program Brand Partnerships? or Just submit art work & add copyright? Must email to teepublic join Brand Partnerships?🙂
@IvyLilyCreative
@IvyLilyCreative 7 күн бұрын
You don't need to do anything to join the fan art program, but all the brands have their own guidelines you need to follow and you also need to use the right tag for each brand for your design to be reviewed.

IMO Jurassic park characters should be open source since they are just carbon copy’s of real dinosaur bones which nobody can copyright….can they?

I don't think I continued this experiment long enough to really understand what they want. I established that if I use their material or specifically the logo as a reference, it's copyright infringement (even though you can literally find different versions of the logo sold on Redbubble right now), but if I use other references, then it's not considered fan art at all.

I don't know if you understood the video. Redbubble and other print on demand stores have partnerships with different brands, so you can sell legally licensed fan art through them. I have another video about the different partner programs here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6Ssl3mflpWmfKc
