Question on TCG player direct. If you have direct eligible inventory what happens if customer buys said single that TCGplayer wants reimbursed for? Do thos reimbursement singles automatically get delisted from your store??

Have you done a video on how to get all of those cards onto TCGPlayer and keep track of them? I honestly feel too overwhelmed to even get started. I would be selling mostly rare and above cards from various swsh sets that we collected master set of. But it has to be thousands of cards all stashed in etbs. Do you enter them all in spreadsheets or? Anyways... I found the videos I watched so far to be very informative and useful. Keep up the good work.

Always love the videos man. Great content. One suggestion would be to slow down some on the dialogue. It seems the speaking errors happen when you try to go fast. Older vids had a much more relaxed and natural pacing. I'm sure you're trying to increase attention retention but just wanted to point it out! Much love

Great tips. Time and effort you put into it is everything. Always learning and wanting to improve is key. Also love what you said about minimizing individual card profit vs moving product. 160k/year in whatnot sales, I went through that thought process too and I'm loving just moving product. If I spend 1.5k on goods and end up with 1.8k after fees for a 1-2 hour show of $1 lot auctions I'm super happy. Bulk print labels and on to the next task.

Great tips! Tip #6 is the honest truth! It’s a tedious business and what you put into it will be reciprocated in sales volume. I know this first hand as when I put time and effort into this side business. I start to get overwhelmed with sales.

how are your fees on sales so low? liek a 1:6 ratio? if you do mostly bulk, doesn't tcgplayer take 50% of anythign under $3? do you just have so much bulk that orders typically are like 20-30 cards that are 50 cents each so the fees are lower? I seem to get crushed for 50% fees on anything I list lower than $1, i actualyl do much better on cards 5$ and higher

I didn't have a lot of money to start out, so I hunted for some bargains on bulk cards in my local area on facebook marketplace, and I connected with a guy who deals strictly in sports cards, but he accepts anything as in trades. This led him to accumulating thousands of pokemon cards, which he knows nothing about. His listing was for 2k cards, but once I responded I learned he actually had over 45,000 pokemon cards in total. I ended up striking a deal with him to buy every single card he had for $500. That came out to a little over .01 per card. I knew I was taking a bit of a risk as I went through some of the cards, b/c there were some energy and trainer cards. After I got them all sorted, it turned out to be only about 800 energy cards in total, and 90% of the rest was pokemon, 10% trainer cards. I'm thinking about setting up a booth at my local flea market, I have 3 binders with all my cards ranging from $2-$100 that I found throughout the bulk, and with the rest of the commons/uncommons and holos that are less than $1, I'm making assorted (non duplicate) poly bags of 40 to sell for $5 each. That'll be mostly for the little kids who just collect to collect, but the packs will contain at least $5 market value in cards (but only cost me about .50 cents of my bulk. I'm starting small and have no idea how to make or run a website, but I do know a little about TCGplayer as a buyer so I may list a few cards on there to get a feel for filling and mailing orders before I go heavy into it. Do you have any other suggestions for easy (minimally complicated) ways to expand my business, or how much I should be charging for my own custom packs/bags? I was also thinking about maybe building some basic playable 60 card decks to sell as well. Once (if) I make some money off these cards at the flea market, I do plan to expand into possible retail of unopened products. I guess this is as good a start as any into a hopefully one day, full time pokemon business. Other than selling singles at market value, I have no idea how to correctly price this stuff.

You do know trainer cards on average are worth more than bulk? Sort those out some can be worth a lot.

@@YourDaddyismydaddy I did manage to get 2 forest seal stones in that lot, and a bunch of cheaper trainers like VIP passes and Boss' orders, but most of the trainers were no longer playable 'D and older', and very few were worth more than a quarter. Price wise, about like the holo rares, but certainly a little better than commons and uncommons. His bulk had been heavily picked through, and I think most of it came from an actual store, so they're really good about taking anything worth more than $1 out, unfortunately. Really hard to find bulk that hasn't been heavily filtered.

@@skydriver5709 you have probably figured this out now but even trainers that have rotated out can be reprinted. If a d for instance like a switch or energy retrieval is reprinted in a standard legal set, you can use the old version.

Will I have a question for you. When you say you offer around 60% of the value when buying collections is that 60% of each individual card or 60% of the combined total of all of the cards.

@@joerainah9360 example. Card 1: $20. 60% is $12 Card 2: $10. 60% is $6 Together after 60% each is added is $18. Together cards value is $30. 60% of that is still $18. So wether you do the percentage before or after, doesn’t matter. 60% is still the same.
