LLC's you can file yourself with a local court i believe forgot how i did mine it was less than 100$ if i remember correctly think you have to renew every year but as far as trademark you can get a lawyer to help you with it or use a third party website to handle it for you i used a third party company when I did mine its a one time fee until it expires and you have to renew (3-5yrs i believe) when i did mine it costed like $500-600

@@jwh1957 uhm yes and no You would need to have proof that you already have been using the name Like you can mail yourself something with it on it and when it comes don’t open the envelope leave it closed I forgot all the exact details but it’s a way to get around it But you should check the trademark database first to see if the name is already used I would say your best bet is prolly just getting a llc But If you business is small i wouldn’t worry about it right now Once your business starts to get someone big then it’ll be a chance for ppl wanting to steal it
