as someone who uses sunfire jean quite a lot (though a different team) its INSANELY fun and i do recommend it! i think its best against bosses and its not very good in the overworld (unless u have insane er) but its fun and this is a video game and that's what matters :)

If you add Raiden into the equation you won't need to worry, I think? I use Jean-Bennett-Xingqiu-Raiden on abyss spiral often, and it cycles with little to no downtime. Granted, I kinda built Jean and Bennett into ER, they're around 140 ER.

You can try the Sunfire Overvape, with Raiden as main DPS, Jean/Xingqiu/Bennett in support. Same setup as sunfire, you ult Bennett, ult Jean, ult Xingqiu and Raiden and you just spam. It shred big ennemies that are not sent away by overcharge. You can try 4p VV for Jean to help decrease the pyro/electro/hydro res for even more damage.

Originally it was Chongyun but along the course of time the last spot was always flexible (i. e. I call this comp a „Circle of death” and basically I play Jean, Bennett, Ganyu and Venti to suck enemies or Lisa because I don’t have Ayato. I use their ults in one place and they destroy everything inside of the circle. To make it more effective I reccomend using Kazuha or Venti

The reason why it works is because Bennett applies pyro to characters within his burst and Jean applies anemo to characters within her burst so it swirls the characters within both bursts(It scales off elemental mastery and won’t hurt the characters being swirled). It also works with Kazuha, though it’s less consistent and doesn’t swirl as many times during the duration of Bennett’s burst, however it can be just as good due to Kazuha’s elemental mastery scaling elemental damage bonus.

sunfire theorycrafter here, the team is usually utilized as a core for pyro application with a pyro-reactor dps, so more efficient teams would be jean + bennet core with melt ganyu, core with ayato/childe, or core with raiden + yoimiya for overload :) also, venti won’t do much for that team since he has a tendency to auto-aim from a distance and does not swirl from the elements he is affected by, meaning that his tornado will be away from the bennet/jean ults and may not absorb pyro most times. love your content and looking forward to more sunfire fun!

my girlfriend and i play genshin together pretty much every day, im almost certain the sunfire affect can also be applied to sucrose too due to her anemo hypostasis emulation we are both f2p players but she runs a c5 sucrose and i run a c4 bennett this same /similar sunfire affect occurs if you can time a pryo attack that applies pyro status along with sucroses hypostasis attack and can get a pretty gnarly amount of damage as im a rank 43 and she is rank 55, i believe her damage is nerfed due to my world level being lower, but she can hit anywhere between 8000+ damage up to 20k damage on pyro swirl alone, maybe its worth trying out, i also heard diluc is great for this alongside most pyro characters :)

the person in the video you watched did t really explain sunfire correctly. sunfire is specifically the combination of jean and venti's bursts, it's got nothing to do with kazuha or venti. it's just bennett applying pyro to you and jean applying anemo to you, which swirls bennett's pyro, making your character's body do pulsating pyro dmg. kazuha and venti just do elemental infusion, which isn't the same thing and sunfire jean isn't just a shield shredder, it's more often used for dmg. if you apply hydro to an enemy, the sunfire dmg will do vaporize dmg that scales directly off of jean's em (because it's vaporizing the swirl dmg). some popular sunfire teams are childe/xiangling/jean/bennett and raiden/xingqiu/jean/bennett. the raiden team is great because it makes jean's pyro swirls do overvape

Jean Swirl team (I dont know if it works but it might) Xiao, Chongyun (preferably c2), Zhongli and Jean Xiao is the dps with his plunge attack dealing aoe anemo damage and chongyun's elemental skill lowers his ult recharge time. Zhongli for shield obviously and Jean is sub dps/battery for for Xiao or Jean Vaporize team Diluc, Xinqiu, Xiangling and Jean Basically Diluc triggers vaporize using Xingqiu's hydro application. Xiangling is there for pyro resonance and for extra damage and Jean swirls with the Venerer Set to reduce the enemies pyro res

I was thinking about what Tuonto said near the end about any other characters working for other elements and I found a few possible other characters, I'm not fully sure though since I don't have some of these characters. For Cryo: - Rosaria's Ice spear gives out a regular cryo wave so it could work but probably not - Ayaka's Burst could possibly work but since it in itself is already air-based it might not but it's also already basically a cryo version of sunfire by itself - Shenhe's burst is probably going to work for the Cryo version of sunfire since it's AoE is around the same size and it also gives out slashes making it not just a full copy of Ayaka's burst For Hydro: - Ayato's burst will most-likely work since it's a constant hydro AoE For Electro: - Lisa will definitely work with her Burst though probably not a viable option as she's hardly ever built - Yae Miko could possibly work with her skill if the attacks are all managed to be aimed perfectly at her skill or if her skill is in a wide area though she could possibly not work as her skill only affects one thing at a time so it might not work as an AoE but definitely for at least a single target I don't have Shenhe or Ayaka so I'm not sure about those two.

sunfire jean is op!! another sunfire team you might like would be sunfire overvape raiden, which is raiden/xingqiu/bennett/jean. it does a lot of elemental reactions and as always the raiden national team is op my very favorite one as of recently is sunfire ayato, with ayato/yun jin/bennett/jean. you can also replace yun jin with an electro character for lots of overloaded and electro charged reactions, my fav is with beidou and her burst.

I’ve actually been using a team similar to sunfire with my Jean. I use Jean, Sucrose, Childe, and Kazuha. Childe works as a hydro support with how I built him, but the only other hydro character I use is Kokomi. So I used a swirl team with him instead. I focused Jean on healing and attack, Sucrose on elemental mastery, Childe on elemental mastery and attack, and Kazuha on attack. It works really well.

If you in any way see this comment, I dare you to use your least leveled character from the team genshin gives you for free, aka lisa, traveler, kaeya or amber fight bosses with that character as a main dps with only level four artifacts and only 1 or 2 star weapons. Tbh I did the abyss against the the heralds with sunfire and Kazuha and Baal. Won. But with C6 Kujo, Bennett , Kazuha C1 and Shogun I couldn’t do it!! THANKS JEAN DANCHOU

I think this is very good as well. But Venti maybe a little over kill on that team. I think a sayu instead of venti permit to swirl more and heal more. or maybe a xiangling to apply pyro a little more. Very good video as usual. GL for 1 million subscribers!

it works with anemo traveler, jean, and kazuha in decreasing order of effectiveness if i remember correctly. it only works with anemo characters who can swirl their own elemental status

sunfire is one of the comps i want to try so bad, but my jean still needs to be built and I need to farm artifacts for her. fortunately tho I have kazuha so he can partly do the job.

Venti doesnt work in this scenario because he doesnt infuse based off of what element you are afflicted by- he infuses off of the element that the enemy has on, which is permanently going to be electro since the sheild will constantly reapply electro to themselves. Great vid though!
