probably because à lot of moms don't allow fathers to do this more. (many do, and many don't have a partner who is that interested, but MANY mothers keep children frol fathers for no reason or bad reasons, like spite or selfishness or anger). if you spent one day in family court, you would see this. many mothers think they are the real parent, the primary parent with all the rights or with more rights. when in reality, legally, a mother (unless there is actual abuse), a mother only has 50% of rights to that baby. and if she thinks there is a valid reason she should have more and the father should have less than his 50%, she cannot actually decide that unilaterally. a court gets to decide that. a lot of women do not understand this. and they dont understand that it is NOT just about a father's rights. the child has a right to their father. to à relationship with their father. women dont get priased for being loving, protective moms as much, because for the past 50 years, it was mothers who used their position and their "motherhood" as justification for interferring with fathers bonding with their children. there are many great moms out there, but people get so happy seeing dads move their kids and wanting their kids because bad mothers (and interferring with their kids relationships with their other parent makes you a bad mom) is because of women successfulling doing this bullshit, men have been conditioned to believe that there is NO POINT in even trying to fight for their kids when things get messy for two reasons : 1) there is no way they will win. esp if women bring up certain things like abuse. (until just a few years ago, thr courts were heavily biased towards mothers. and until just à few years ago, there wasnt any punishment in family court if you were caught lying about the other parent). 2) men are afraid to fight, even for joint custody because they think it looks like they are trying to take kids away from their mother. and in our society, thatnis à horrendous thing to do. many still believe, because of the bias society had (which is slowly changing), that children need their mothers MORE than they need their father. 3) and one last reason I will add, but it is only relevent in cases where a mother should not have custody of children, snd à father should have primary custody, many father ignore red flags and warning signs when it comes to abusive women. and even if the man gets abused, and leaves, many do not fight for their kids (since again, they lose a lot because courts ignore red flags of the mother), and they convince themselves that there is no way à mother can or would hurt her own children. like it is unnatural and NATURE would not allow such a thing. that no matter how abusive or instable à mother is, the kids need to be with her and they are safe with her. even though stats show infants are most often killed by women. and female serial killers (who take longer to get caught so their bldy counts tend to be much higher than male serial killers, because of the bias society and individuals have toward females) target children, parents, family members and usually vulnerable people in their care, while Male serial killers learn to target victims who are not connected to them and most often, victims that arent quickly missed (transients, drug addicts, prostitutes etc). something to google. even when there isnt an EXTREME situatuon, there is still a bias towards women and esp women with children. and when things are messy, like in divorces and custody battles, many women willingly take advantage of this. ans certain personality types, do it more than others. and it is not narcissistic personalities. so, people think, when they see a mother love her baby, "well, of course. thats natural." while when à man loves his baby or is interested, "what an anomoly! how rare to see this!" when there is a reason people think à lot of fathers are not this way. and it was certain loud women that have pushed this idea, and other mothers didnt oppose it loudly or strongly enough and so now it is a bias. the point is, this might be why women are not praised for this and fathers are.
