I'm a real one!! The "crunchy brown sugar in the brown packet" is turbinado sugar (most frequently trademark-branded in the Northeastern United States at least as "Sugar in the Raw"). It's practically all we use in our house. Delicious sprinkled on fresh berries as well. Enjoy!!! ❤️

most places charge for alt milk (usually a dollar) and then syrups can be another dollar, so if it starts at 4 or 5 dollars ur paying 6 or 7 plus tax. i love bringing my own cup because most places give a discount if u bring a personal cup and also i mainly go to the place around the corner from me (i'm on uws so black press coffee, love them!) and they have punch cards. but in short, yes, coffee is ridiculous here, as is everything else lol

If you do a part 2 in other nyc boroughs you should totally come to Casita of Brooklyn right off the west side of prospect park in Park Slope! It’s super cute and small and the owners are the sweetest people.. and of course the coffee is amazing!!! Also while you’re in the area make a reservation for Pasta Lousie for THE BEST homemade pasta.. they don’t have a vodka sauce but they have lots of other options that are amazing as well. ❤
