Playing as a tree or a huge dragon against humanoid bosses sounds dumb, if it was humanoid boss vs humanoid boss with block and dodge mechanics then that would sound interesting.

I watched someone play this mod few months ago and if i remember correctly there are only a couple of guns that can parry, and you have tobuy the ammo from the guy too

@MythyMoo, a great challenge run is being only allowed to level Endurance, Mind, and Vigor as a Wretch. Your damage sucks, so it's a real challenge BUT it doesn't suck anywhere near as much as a Level 1 Run does. Just remember to use a mod to reduce all weapon/item requirements to zero. Another interesting run is being stuck with the starting weapons and not being allowed to change armor or weapons for the entire run. Samurai is the GOAT for these runs.

this is literally what elden ring combat shoulda looked like and to be clear, i mean the smooth, fast normal animations from blood borne paired with each weapon having a unique and indepth moveset open to a lot of learning to use correctly but at the same time in general, just good looking animations that arent so damn old and more importantly, slow and made for games like demon souls where bosses actually leave a full opening to attack with the heal on hit right after being hit yourself only adding to the idea that yea, your SUPPOSED to be aggressive and actually rewarding you for doing so which honestly if you ask me, is the real reason elden ring is so hard for a basic average build. its not necessarily the hardest game in the series in the least but just has the player and boss operating on different design philosophies that make it REALLY hard on the player to fight on the bosses level unless you get good at perfect dodging shit.

The gun parry is super finnicky from install to install apparently, works for some people but doesn't for others, there's a patch that came out today though that supposedly fixes it on their Nexus page. Haven't actually played the mod yet myself though.

Nice vid Myth! The modding community certainly has been busy! If I may please make a request for Terminator: Resistance? It may not have the best graphics, but it’s a FUN AF shooter, imo, based around the Future War scenes in the first two Terminator movies. Criminally underappreciated, imo.
