If you are having so much issues with the AI late game, especially if it's a improvement mod, research Thermonuclear Bomb and ICBMs special project. Those mega nukes can essentially disable a entire state for 1-2 years, destroy any division inside it and also you don't even need air superiority to drop them.

I think it's cool how at around the 28:00 mark, College suffers defeats near East Prussia so moves his offensive further south towards Romania in order to split the Reichspakt holdings in two, because it almost exactly mimics the Soviet offensive during the 1944 Alternate History path for Panzer Corps 2 (which maybe College should try ehehehehe)

you should be running the smart ai mod, instead of giving the ai equipment while also giving them decisions to get good templates, smart ai already forces the ai to use good templates and doesn't give them any extra equipment not to mention how the ai also manages military factories, it's scary how it balances every piece of equipment as a major nation how i would

I'l just leave my comment about this mod(improved ai). I recently tried this mod when playing savinikov Russia, and before that played as the Soviet Union in vannila with hist ai. I would say that yes, this mod genuinely improves the ai in terms of army building(focusing on plains and tanks) which ia good........... But that's literally it. Nothing more. The ai is just......... the ai. Just as an example. I was playing Soviet Union, as I said, and by the beginning of Barbarossa Germany had about 10-20 good tanks divisions whic is cool! They even tried to push with them in the specific tiles(near Lwow to be exact). But the problem was, that i also had a border with Norway, which I loosely defended(i took the border tile along with the rest of Finland as a puppet,obviously) and so Germany maid the most logical thing ever......... By putting 5!!! Tanks on this front.... Five good medium tanks divisions..... Just dying out of attrition in the northern wastes...... That's why ALL mods that improve ai..... Isn't really going to do much in the perspective. Back to my example, i managed to hold off the germans and then counterattacked in Prussia, capturing it and killing about 20-30 german infantry. And german infantry was expensive, like really expensive (a lot support, that kind of stuff). And after losing a lot of infantry equipment.... They just continued to build planes and tanks, refusing to alocate more industry to firearms. And so in just half a year of several small encirclements, germany was left with 50-60 infantry divisions..... So my point is that you can never(probably) fully fix the ai in this game, and it will remain to be silly and not knowing when it should change priority in its production(for example).

It's just as good as in vanilla hoi, which means - it's bad. But some countries get bonuses to cavalry in their focus tree, which makes it more viable - among them are Russia, Poland, Mongolia and the Ma Clique. Russia's bonuses are kinda actually kinda insane if you stack them well, cavalry might go 12km/h.

Russia can stack a lot of cav bonuses to make them decent. Very good fast units in low supply areas.
