I personally have the T-34-2 (using the 122mm gun), and somewhat recently 2-marked it. It is an absolute BEAST of a side hugger, and many Skorpions and Su-130PMs are surprised when I 2-shot them with my grand HE rounds, or I can punch through the front of tanks like the T28 or a Defender if I choose to load the gold. Overall I hear that it is an underrated tech tree line.

T-34-2 was by far one of my most favourite 3 marks. Amazing tank and so underrated. The 5 degrees of gun depression is not as painful as the tier 9

The (lack of) gun depression can make this tank really frustrating to play at times, but the better the player and the more vast your map knowledge is, the more fun it gets. Overall I enjoyed marking it, very few tanks can trade like this thing at tier 9.

T-34-3 is heavily underrated. 530 damage with HE makes skorpions and Su130s cry. Very good turret and good sidescraper. Only disadvantage is gun handling, but if you use rammer, vertical stabilizer, and improved aiming the tank is perfect. Plus preferential matchmaking, what more could you ask?

I enjoyed the whole line, for the most part. But this and the 121 are just amazing. It definitely takes practice and map knowledge to make it work with so little gun depression, but it's nice to be able to bully heavy tanks :P

Several years ago, I used to "main" this tank. It's partially a hipster pick because that time was the peak of T-54 meta. The other reason is because of how dependant T-54 to gold ammo spam, while WZ-120 has both good pen at gold and silver ammo (especially for the time) so you could play in a much more budget way. I really like the punchy gun, but it's sometimes also pretty frustrating due to stuffs like how your gun suddenly went to the moon due to a small bump in the road when you are trying to flank people. I slowly moved on and finally graduated the crew after the first buff they did to 121, so I have no idea how it perform after buff. Maybe I will try it again after I had enough fun with the new crew I'm going to train for T-34-1 (overall was my favorite for the line)

For me, the strongest one was the Type 58 actually, it was insane dpm T-34-1 was very underwhelming, quite inaccurate and quite poor gun T-34-2 was pretty good, nice punchy gun with decent accuracy WZ-120 .. it's good but it has so many weaknesses.. The entire tank is autopen, the upper plate gets penned by anything but lights, huge cupolas 121.. I haven't bought it yet, I'm suffering from a lack of credits

The worst part about the WZ-120 mark, was how quickly you did it. I watched a bunch of these games on your stream, and this was a really entertaining tank. After you marked the 121, I bought this tank and the T-34-2 back, and I've really enjoyed playing them. You don't see them too frequently, so people tend not to be aware of the silly dpm this has. Ah the WZ120, my beloved. Still one of favorite mediums in the game despite the shite gun depression. I still prefer to play this over the 121 and 121B. There's something so satisfying about smacking a heavy tank for equal or higher alpha and then outreloading it!

I have a really bad experience with this medium tank, however, for some reason I was able to make it work. The gun is omega troll but it has 340 HEAT which is ridiculous and it fires every 8 seconds for 440 alpha. I started to get good with it when I went with the heavies as support to trade vs enemy heavies. -3 degrees of gun depression is an absolute pain but it can work sometimes if you know what to do. I've used rocks many times just to raise the butt and aim lower, that's how bad it is.

Alright I'm going to rebuy this tank.....I better get the RNG you get! Updating this comment as of 11/23/22. I'm an above average player, have watched this video a couple times, have used the tactics and advice Kajzoo recommends....I've played 27 battles since watching and purchasing this vehicle and am now averaging just shy of 3600 damage in the tank with deep purple stats. This thing is crazy good if you play it the way he plays it in the game and deploy the same tactics. I'm loving this tank a lot now and it has become a regular tier 9 I play with friends.

How do you tell the dif between a good player (that has / uses all his advantages - prem ammo, consumable, equipment, etc.) and a scrub / tomato on steroids, in part thanks to "careful game design towards spenders" ? Weak spots, game mechanics, map knowledge ? Genuine question here, as looking at your setup and "tips" on some videos and can't quite see if it's skill / money / applicable. Context, draw distance used to be a box 1k/1k back when I last played, and gold ammo was the only "competitive" advantage you could pay for.
