I’ve gotten better by presetting the PCI and being better at taking pitches. Basically taking a better approach and getting my pitch instead of swinging at every strike. I’ll take 2 dotted strikes and hit the 3rd one which is what I was looking for the entire at bat

As far as how I'm getting better: I'm on a 1 ms response gaming monitor. I bought the dualsense edge controller to make my own joystick settings. I use Kontrol freeks. I have 3 different precision rings I can try (I tend to prefer the green ones with the least amount of restriction but also constantly drop my pci or don't get it up high enough). None of it is making me go from average to elite. I still swing at inside sliders and cutters. I still swing at balls low down the middle in the dirt or close to it because everything looks good to me initially. I never get check swings.

you can cancel the throw & then throw it again..the meter resets, so if you time it perfectly then you might be good

To improve this year I bought a wired controller and the game has felt much smoother, last year was my first year taking mlb the show somewhat serious and I bought kontrol freeks and precision rings and I made WS. Im feeling that i am getting better this year. Currently i Play vs cpu on Legend with a Division only Team to boost affinty. I quit After 3 HR für 10k points and After 10 Hits you get Even more points . Also for stealing. And After 2 Games on Legend i Hit 4 Perfect Perfect HR Back to Back on Veteran cause it looked Like slow mo and felt Like the King of mlb himself 😂

Does anybody else feel like this game is very unethical. It’s an $80 game and on top of that the best card in the game is hidden behind a Paywall. I just spent 120,000 stubs trying to unlock Yordan Alvarez and the only thing I pulled was the same card three times in a row a stupid ad Adolis Garcia card. I’ve already sank upwards of 200 hours into this game.
