@KhanAcademy- thank you for launching this tool! I used another AI tool a couple of times for lesson plans. It was fine and saved time but the fact that there is now a tool specifically designed for teachers makes me feel so much better about using AI in the first place. I have used Khan Academy all of this year with my student and they even won some highlighters! Will continue to use KA next year and I am excited to utilize Khanmigo as well. Also, thank you for making it free for teachers!

@khanacademy - As a new math teacher in TX, I want the lesson planning tool to be able to use a PDF (textbook) as a resource when planning the lesson. I will try Copilot in Edge, and I think there are a few other AI tools that can use PDFs as input (I hope).

Looks like it still has a way to go (such as fitting tables to page width) and it would be cool to see if districts (or even better, state level) could implement their own format to a lesson where AI could fill in by section. Imagine how efficient evaluation review could be if administrators could see consistent formatting between schools. I do like Khan academy, a great resource, and I am eager to see the future of Khanmigo. Cheers, and thanks for the video!

What a great tool! I thought Khan Academy was just for math. I didn’t realize it was for so much more! I like this because it’s AI specifically for education and would be much better at generating things for teachers than other generic AI platforms. Thanks for sharing! Have a great week.
