This video came at the perfect time as I have been looking for new products to try that aren’t heavily scented as I am sensitive to fragrances. Definitely going to try the styling products for my wavy hair.

They had me at fragrance free. The scents i their lines build up fairly quickly! Your curls are, as always, poppin.

I recently tried the CS shine free gel 9 and love it!!! I use NYM mouse and a little of this gel. I have fine high porosity hair. I get so much more hold and definition. Highly recommend!! Love your channel!

I think this like would work perfect for my mama. I on the other hand am a scalp line stan for my wash and moisture line for my styling.

Thanks for the tip on using more gel, Chloe! Maybe I need to use more gel because my hair turns out frizzy with definition and I want more definition than frizz. I might have to do more sectioning when applying products because I have medium dense hair. Beautiful results!

Great job thank you! I loved the CS soufflé but the smell was a deal breaker and I had to give it away. Since then I compared all other curl products to it! It was my bench mark! It seems of all the products, the Shine GEL might be most like the soufflé. What do you think is most like the soufflé of the fragrance free line? You have gorgeous hair btw!! My new fav is to add the CS oil to lighter products for some extra moisture and protein. Try adding to the bond repair or a leave in conditioner.

I have tried Curlsmith bond repair after watching your channel I really like it however the fragrance is too heavy for me. Do all the Curlsmith lines smell the same? As we don’t have the fragrance free option here in the UK yet.

Curlsmith’s fragrances never bothered me and I can’t wear perfume. I can’t use heavily scented deodorants. If I buy a candle 🕯, it has to be so mild that it’s barely noticeable. The only curly hair products that have bothered me are- Bounce Curl leave in conditioner and TreLuxe Curl Cream.

I grabbed the ‘Shine’ Strong gel sample size at Ulta. I haven’t tried it yet. I hope it will work better than the In Shower Style Fixer; that gel ALWAYS flash dries on me.

It’s really key with both of them that your hair is super wet! So remember that when you use it! 💕💕💕

Thanks for the review! I keep asking ladies on their reviews this question and no one answers so hopefully you can help me :) How do these compare with the other CurlSmith lines? I have the products from the blue, purple, and orange and if the only real difference is the lack of fragrance I don't want to run out and buy them right now. I will wait until I run out of what I have to try them (of course I will absolutely buy them eventually! lol) TIA

This was a sponsored video so Curlsmith might not have asked specifically just to describe these products and not to talk about their other products in this video. She was very descriptive about their performance though. One thing that is different about this line is that it’s supposed to work for straight hair too; that tells you it’s not near as hydrating as their other lines.

What I noticed about this line is they don't have glycerin (except for the strong hold gel). Living in a highly humid state, I avoid glycerin in all products. I purchased this line for my curly (grown) kids and they noticed a difference. Their hair was shiny and soft and more defined.

My crown is the same way… but when I use thicker products or even more products it actually weights it down 🥺. If I try to break out the cast it gets frizzy & the definition starts disappearing by the 2nd or 3rd day
