A thing that annoys me with anime tower defense games is that there is no strategies literally just get a rare unit that does billions of damage and spam those units every where on the map and go afk and win and god forbid you take a break otherwise your units that were once god like are now obsolete

To be honest, by what i have played from vanguards its kinda different because of the passives that each character have that most times just mean that instead of "MOST OP CHARACTER (MUST GET)" you can actually manage your team to get past many waves that you couldnt do before because you didnt had the right characters to play.

@@hatezomm 1. Leader buffs for example a every unit has like 8 categories and if you have a unit that has the category they get a buff 2. Passive, passive that can make summons do more damage slows and make thinks take more damage, stun damage critical raise attack etc 3. Food feature in insane, nightmare, and challenger you have to feed you units in order to keep them attacking if you don't feed them they sell for less and stop attacking if completely unfed. Color systems. It's like a type character where certain color units do 2x or 0.5x the damage to the units they are strong or weak against

5-6 minute matches for story and easier modes, around 10 minutes for harder stages, if you cant handle it like ASTD's 3 minute matches then it's an issue with your attention span

Pity does carry through banners infer, also only alucard is the only secret that is in banner. Igris you get from legend stage 3 of the virtual dungeon at 0.75% so it is ring but way better than getting alucard. The best units are alucard, then igros then sung Jin woo, then chae and obito then vegeta and others.

Btw infer the chance for a mythic is 0.5%. In the banner where the character is in middle (the mythic like jinwoo for example) they have a higher chance to be that mythic when you roll the 0.5% for a mythic. The luck boosts boost the 0.5%, and the mythics on the sides have like 20% to be the mythic you pull so basically you want to save your gems until the unit you want is preferably in the middle of the banner. So the banner system basically works like AA if you remember

So we are ignoring: - Tons of unique QoL features such as unit keybinds, unit manager, Max range on Placement, and more. - New and unique Paragon gamemode - New achievement system with mounts and emotes - Secret cutscenes - Extremely f2p economy - Enemy AND unit collection index which rewards you - Each unit has a unique passive. No game has done this, as passives are not just "oh this unit does burn dmg", that is completely different. - Completely unique boss mechanics, primarily centred around Double Dungeon. (I am not talking about just mini boss attacks or whatever) And this is all JUST on release. You can't expect the game to come out with 2 years of content on release, but saying that the game is just a copy and paste with so many unique features that are not present in other games is insane.

The initial game is going to be very similar especially, as it it just the release. The actually meaningful features come in future updates like EVERY other game. It just seems like you're heavily biased against this game for no reason, you're expecting it to have many updates worth of content on release.

Quick run down best mythicals are sun jin woo, chan in, obito for damage sasuke is a support unit as he stuns Naruto and Vegita are the worst mythcials igris you get from legend stage 3 on double dungeon alucard is banner secret battle pass unit buffs igris and sun Jin woo have a team passive where sun Jin woo buffs igris play the story on nightmare has a cool feature speedwagon is a money units and best legendary is Goku black

these anime tower defense games for me at least always felt mid like, "oh you're not winning? get the 0.1% unit that destroys everything", "oh now you're not winning at the higher difficulties? then evolve that 0.1% unit with other 0.1% drops and stuff", it's always gacha > actual strategy in every single one of them like as long as you have max upgraded max evolved units or whatever you win regardless of how bad you are at actual tower defense games and at that point it becomes a "watch these cool VFX simulator"
