So I Tried the Spider-Man 2 on PC, So you don't have to (literally). It's hot garbage, the performance isn't good and the graphics are so bad. You should only play it if you really want to finish story or you just can't wait for the actual (official release).

tried playing it on gtx 1650ti gave me solid 33 fps on 720 low settings, but the state of this game is unplayable. Even if you have a high end gpu, You'll be barely able to enjoy it (crashing & assets) are some of the problems the main issue for me was controls, since my xbox controller is not working with this game.

Have a high end pc, not major issues whatsoever, some frame drops on heavy load cutscenes (nothing to crazy) and some visual artifacts here and there. Still was able to 100% the game

Looks alright. Just cap to 30fps and it will be fine ig. Anything is better than the ps5 fidelity mode that feels like 15fps

that mode is 30fps capped unless u have vrr. and without it fully coming out on pc, the performance will be really bad.

@@idkwut2do907 well yeah, its not an official release. i have a 3050 as well and spider-man remastered runs smoothly without ray tracing. You can even see the graphics are horrible and the performance is absolute garbage. Either play on ps5 or wait till they make an official port.

I think it's real important to mention that this is an early build, not a finished one, therefore yes, performance and graphics won't be the best. Well, in defense, the port isn't final. It's still literally a work in progress. The reason why the performance is "bad" is because all assets are raw/ uncompressed. Almost every 2 days, there's 9gb update, or a 500mb hotfix which fixes many things wrong with the game. I have a mid range PC, and everything is smooth, (aside from stutters cuz of loading issues, I have a low end SATA SSD). Maybe you just have to tweak a few settings. The graphics, yes, isn't as good as PS5 graphics, because they want to make it accessible. They chose to use DirectX 11 with no ray tracing support to make it more accessible to more people. There's also vulkan, but it kinda sucks at the moment. Some graphical settings and shaders currently aren't working yet. Again, early build. Edit: Also, the first game's official port wasn't really that great anyways. Not saying this one's official port will suck, but just saying. Miles Morales on PC had better performance on my PC compared to Spider-Man Remastered even on the same settings. SMMM is a PS5 game, SMR is a PS4 game.

Even in the description, there's no mention of current version, no mention of possible future updates, and no mention that it's an early build. All he said was that it isn't the official port. I even said maybe he just needed to tweak a few more settings to get the game to run more smooth, as he has a better PC than me, and I achieved smooth gameplay. Just look at Spiderman especially at the colour of his suit looks like the colour has faded after washing it 1000 times 😂😂😂 looks worse than ps4 spiderman. Not worth it lowering settings. @@hibutamu4884 funny that you mentioned spider-man's "washed out suit" without knowing the context as to WHY it was washed out. That's just a dusty/ sandy suit after fighting sandman. And because of this comment, I had to compare PS4 Spider-man graphics with this PC Port of SM2's graphics, and no, in all occasions, it either looked identical or better than the PS4 Spider-man (excluding ray-traced scenarios.) Also, I never said lowering the settings would make the game look good 😆. All I said was if it wasn't running smoothly, then there may be tweakable settings to improve performance. For example, there's a setting "Delayed Streaming" which if you disable, it has no noticeable impact to graphics fidelty, unless you are REALLY looking for it, but it makes 1% lows way more consistent with average FPS. Again, I just think that a video titled "I tried ..... so you don't have to" should be an in depth video about pros and cons of playing that version. I mentioned lowering settings to address the fact that he said it was hot garbage and that performance was bad without addressing that it's an early build, and that you can tweak settings.
