I've never been in a sauna either. The points you made about health benefits seem to coincide with your own experience/experiment just from what we've seen here in the video. I pretty much assumed this from the start. Pretty cool! Anything beats cardio, lol! 😅

You answered alot of my questions, thank you for video... I bought a simliar looking one off amazon 3 weeks ago and sent it back after to REALLLY bad sessions of actually being COLD using it... it took 90 min to get up to 98degress inside my 65 degree basement... and it was a nightmar to use... sounds like this does not have any of that mess.

Thanks, I tried to make it as informative as I could for those interested in them, I’m glad you thought it was helpful. It definitely doesn’t have a problem getting up to temp. Mines in my garage and the temperature has varied in the last 50 days of using from 40 - 70. It’s been perfect in all temps.
@SimpleManChannel
@SimpleManChannel 8 ай бұрын
Also it usually only takes 15 to 20 minutes to get up to temp. If you put hot water in the boiler, it heats up even faster.

@@SimpleManChannelI wanted to check the comments before I asked my question. Just to confirm, you ambient temp in your garage has been as low as 40 degrees and it still heated up as described? Please and thank you for your video and response.

Can you do a video of you doing sauna then doing cold plunges for 30 days? From what I understand, that's what a lot of Finnish people do there? Glad to hear that this sauna is AMERICAN-MADE!

@@deyriohmiii4598 it wasn’t getting any better, and maybe slowly thinning. I used it with minoxidil for a while, that worked decent, but never fully corrected it.

Your temp was 105 degrees, was that one of those touchless thermometers or an old school one that goes in the mouth? Your pulse went up a lot but isn't that a sign of a heat stroke too? The opposite is believed to hold major health benefits too. Have you tried ice baths and, if so, how would you integrate that into a sauna routine?
@SimpleManChannel
@SimpleManChannel 9 ай бұрын
It was one that goes into your ear canal. I’m assuming your pulse would go up when you have heat stoke the same as when you use a sauna because the heart pushes blood out all over your body to try and induce cooling. That being said, I never felt in danger of heat stroke. I haven’t done a full cold submersion, but I would pour cold water over me after being in for a while to cool off and then I’d get back in. I’m not sure I’d enjoy the cool as much though lol.

@@SimpleManChannel I think I wpuld like the feel of a sauna more than a ice bath, but I could never get into using the sauna in my old gym. First you weren't supposed to add water for humidity for reasons unkmown, and I just didn't like it after a few minutes. Glad to hear it has benefits bevause in Florida just gettong i to a car is a sauna most of the year.

There are dry saunas, and InfraRed saunas, besides steam. (Dry sauna machines will short circuit with water!) DrBoz talks about the different kinds’ effects in the body. My mom loves steam, though, and a steam sauna is easier to get at home.
