I Tried This Classic Combo On My Natural Hair! | Camille Rose Curl Love & Curl Maker

Hey beautiful people!!! I hope you all are having a safe week as we are moving through this tumultuous time. So I don't know about y'all but I've been slightly obsessed with going back to some of the things I used to be obsessed with at the beginning of my natural hair journey. Camille Rose Curl Maker was my staple styler back when I started to experiment with wash n gos so I decided to try out this classic combo using the Curl Maker and Curl Love Moisture Milk. Yesss lets do a mini series on the throwbacks🌸 I started to revisit my go to’s for the past two months trying to use up all these products before I purchase new stuff. I did a camille rose wng a week ago and fell in love all over again💕 . I def’ had a learning curve with the curl maker in the beginning but learned like you said , be careful how much moisturizing leave in you use to prevent that curdling. Hair is gorg per usual ! By far, my fav combo! Definitely will recommend those, like myself, with more dense hair, top it off with a tad bit of wetline, BOMB!

Awesome video!! This is one of my favorite fall/winter wash and go combos!! Other favorites are CRN Moisture Butter or Aloe Whipped Butter Gel with Curl Maker or UFD, Oyin Hair Dew and/or Whipped Pudding with UFD or Eco, Bekura Honey Latte and/or Palm Tapioca with UFD, and NekeShea, TMN moisture cream or Cupuacu Buttercream with UFD... Also Belnouvo Avocado Shea and Custard under anything (UFD, Eco, etc) back in the day.. These are still combos I go back to when like you said, your hair doesn't want to act right.. I'm excited to see some of your OG combos coming up!!

I used this combo for a WNG and my hair was the softest it’s ever been but didn’t have any hold for me 😩. The moisture love 😍😍, it’s my hair’s favorite hair milk 🥛. I need to try this for a wash-n-go. I typically use the Curl Milk with the Whipped Aloe butter gel for twistouts. I also used to obsessed with the Kinky Curly Knot Today and Curling Custard Combo back when I first went natural.

Too crazy.....just last week I pulled out my CRN products for a wash day. I love Curl Love and it does mix beautifully with Curlmaker. My favorite combo is Almond Jai Twisting Butter and the Curlmaker, nice wash and go. But I use Curlmaker all the time.....Miche and Pattern Beauty do not have gels, so Curlmaker pairs very well with both for great wash and go's. That would be a great mini series of throw back combos...Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie with Kinky Curly Knot today was a great one. Your hair looks amazing!!! Thanks for sharing.

I still need to try this combo and also the curl maker as a one and done because. I used it with the almond jai and also a styling cream and my hair too soft and roots got frizzy fast but i didn’t used a lot of gel. My did have much old wash n go combos. I used to just pair eco styler black castor or aunt jackies flaxseed with a random leave-in. But a old wash n go combo when i first went natural was cantu curl activator w/ the define custard. You are speaking my hair language with this combo! CRN Curl Milk and Curl Maker are my staple products for my WNG's. I top off the Curl Maker with Mielle's Pomegranate and Honey curl custard. Eco gels never worked on my hair so i used Entwine Lotion 9 leave in, Butter Creme Hydrator and Creme Jelle Styler as my "go to" products back in the day. I eventually ventured to the Kinky Curly Knot Today and Custard line along with the Quidad Curl Immersion line. I use to love this combo on my hair, but my curls didn’t look as good as yours. Z and Ellie having a stand off because Z want her camera time lol, she tired of Ellie being the star. This was definitely one of my favorite combos but the curl marker never gave me a strong enough hold, I would get like 2 days max. Love the videos Bri, keep them coming !

The only classic combos I can think of are these: 1. Kinky Curly leave in and custard 2. Cantu curling cream and the olive oil ecostyler 3. Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and ecostyler (olive or argan) 4. Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie and the gel souffle 5 . Mielle Brazilian curly cocktail cream and the honey styling gel 6. Eden bodyworks coconut shea leave in and the curl defining cream 7. Curls creme brule and the goddess curls Every other combo I’m thinking of is probably too recent. Also, when I first went natural i used to put in coconut oil and leave in v05 rinse out conditioner so I don’t really have that many classic combos myself. 😂😂😂

This is definitely an OG combo. Very dependable combo if all else fails. But my #1 combo is and always will be Kinky Curly Knot Today leave and the Kinky Curly Custard. I stopped trying new things months ago after Mane Choice and Jane Carter jacked up my hair. Kinky Curly definitely revived my hair. 😩😩

I used this combo a few weeks ago and was fairly pleased. I like the curl love moisture milk but it’s not very slippery. It’s definitely moisturizing though. Would love to see old school combos. I can’t think of many right off hand though lol.

Hi love! Just read over my bottle again and it is silicone free! I know I’ve caught a few of my CRN bottles that have the wrong ingredients list. Like my sweet ginger shampoo has the list for the Moroccan pear custard, so that may be what you’re seeing.
