In the second part of the 24 HOUR CHALLENGE in Chamelecon, we continue constructing in the dark of night. The electricity goes out, a sponsor fails to bring us the cement mixer, we run out of water, we run out of food, the shovels break from so much use, and even the vultures begin to fly above us. Will we be able to finish the foundation of the school in the remaining 12 hours?
All the construction materials that we can use in 24 hours to build a school in Chamelecon, San Pedro Sula, the Indufesa hardware store will donate . We have to work NONSTOP, day and night, to make the most of every second of the challenge. We dig the earth with shovels, we assemble rebar, we mix cement, and we do everything we can to advance the construction.
Currently, many children from the José Simón Azcona school are studying under a nylon tarp without protection from the sun and rain. Together, we can make a difference.
