Really wish there was a way for the game to detect glitch builds. I would actually love if they just had dual leaderboards for each track, a glitch build leaderboard and a glitchless leaderboard (and a scroll bar to see other times lol). Glitch builds are still impressive in their own way. But I love racing in the glitchless go kart league myself. I made the fastest glitchless boat in the racing festival "Laguna Mojada" boat race and placed 3rd in that race a few hours before it ended. I was doing another race and the leaderboard for that one went away before I had a chance to see if that build made the podium at the very end. It would be awesome to know if my little glitchless mini boat held a candle to the insanely fast glitched builds, but it made me so happy to think I built the best glitchless boat in that race because it took many many hours to perfect!

That's what I thought too. Instead of removing glitches like a big company would've done, you leave them there (which they did) but make a category for them. At this point glitching isn't viewed as a bad thing, but as a new skill, so it should have a dedicated section.

just "ban" certain parts for certain races, like gyros, hoverpads etc. and depending on the parts on your vehicle you will get a different sub-league

@@verrueckteriwan eh, gyros not so much, gyros have their place even in glitchless vehicles. Hoverpads and detachable blocks should probably be banned from the main leagues of most races as they serve virtually zero purpose other than creating UFO engines and zero-drag glitches.

@@1mariomaniac I mean, gyros were introduced after these races were made and are supposed to be used for space travel, for me having at least the option to compete with "classic" vehicles would be nicer, but regardless of that a specific limitation on the usable parts would be great

Scrapman, i think you should try different steering methods, the default steering in the game causes a lot of twisting, especially with how they move the tyre's position and rotation, you can try using a steering arm, where the steering is connected by a long rod to the suspension and wheels, a helicopter servo/servo of any kind, mix and match it just experiment with the physics of steering to optimise stability and steering speed

24:16 I feel like the dragon thrusters higher power may be worth its extra weight on heavier builds, because on a super lightweight build like this it increases your total weight by a much larger percentage, while on a large build it wouldn't increase its total weight by a significantly higher percentage than the the space thruster while providing more power.

the best way to do this is basically make a plane that occasionally touches the ground. make sure to only have pitch and yaw, roll makes it too hard to control

really interesting builds, i would do a more traditional vehicle looking build and i would use regular engines. Maybe it's just how my mind works, i see certain things and i just label "boat stuff, flight stuff, ground stuff." About half way through where he throws the first iteration out and ughhm, watching him miss repeatedly that the wedged on the front where pushing the car down and the high speed servo on the back was throwing the back sideways every time he turned was painful. He's a classic case of throwing random crap at the wall till somthing stick. Don't get me wrong, i'm no genius savant at this kind of game, but i can generally get better handling out of a vehicle than this.

You should go with the lowest league possible that you think you can do and get in top 10 there and then add a bunch of thrusters and turn them off so then you can get the top 10 in other powercore leagues
