There's a kid in my daughters 2nd grade class and sometimes the TV in the background is so damn loud. She's the only one unmuted in the class aside from the teacher. The teacher is Deaf but does speak so I have to pop in on the video to let her know about the TV. It's woken up my 2 year old a few times and she's generally a heavy sleeper. The class is mostly kids with cochlear implants but who still rely heavily on sign language for communication each with a varying degree of hearing though one is completely deaf (born without an internal ear)
