Hey Kenny! Since you’re becoming a baseball fan and I’ve always loved baseball myself, I’m challenging you to THE BASEBALL REBUILD! You must build a 9 to 11 man championship rotation (depending on how much you want to challenge yourself) filled with baseball positions in a basketball context, as follows: Starting pitcher: before the pitcher throws, nothing happens. And the pitcher has to stay out there for a while! This player must have at least an 85 stamina and must be a play initiator (you don’t have to check this in game, just use someone who you know brings it up the court in game). Catcher: smartest player in the game! This player must have at least an A IQ rating. First baseman: doesn’t usually require amazing fielding reflexes, so these players are often slow, but sluggers. This player must have at most a C+ athleticism and perimeter defense but must have at least an A three point shot. Second Baseman: often little guys who can hit well for contact, but don’t slam it out of the park. This player must be at most 6’ 3” and have at least an A inside and B+ midrange scoring grade, but at most a C+ three point scoring grade. Third Baseman: must have a great arm and reflexes as they need to stop hard grounders and throw all the way to 1st. This player must have at least an A athleticism grade, an A perimeter defense, and must be at least an 85 overall. Shortstop: also needs lightning reflexes and where some of the greatest fielders ever come from. This player needs a B+ athleticism, an A+ perimeter defense and must be an 80+ overall. Left Fielder: the little brother of the outfielders, doesn’t need as much fielding skill as the others so its often a great hitter who teams don’t really know where to put. This player must have at least a 90 strength and must have an A+ inside scoring grade. BONUSES!!! Designated Hitter: not a good fielder at all, but they can sure hit that ball. Must have at least an A in all three scoring grades and at most a C- in both defensive grades. Closer: can always count on them to come into a close one and finish them off.
