just cook the pasta fresh and heat the sauce, much much more tasty and doesn't take long. Same with cooking chicken and rice, it only takes like 15 min to do it. Have to plan still and make sure its in the fridge/freezer, but freshly cooked is so much better for some stuff, and at least for me much easier to do consistently and look forward to each meal.

@@frydac yep, for me too. I'm from Brazil so even if I have to cook at midnight I don't have problems but if you don't have time or are a lazy person, the better way is to put oil and freeze. Taz, here's my suggestion for you. I know I'm kinda late to the party, But if you ever try this meal prep again, don't prep actual meals, prep ingredients. Roast your veggies, cook your protein, your carbs, etc, all separately. Then have three or four different kinds of sauces, dips, and add-ons. That way you can build a bowl of food and it's different every time, even though you're still technically eating the same 10 ingredients over and over.

Rice becomes safe to eat for 2 days after cooking, but after then it developes unsafe bacteria which can make you ill. Just a note if for if you do this challenge (or something similar) again.

not if u put it in a fridge
@ayochan0195 жыл бұрын
You obviously didn't grow up in an asian household
@georgehart32705 жыл бұрын
I mean it won’t kill you, but it’s still unsafe because it contains a bacteria called staffleycocus. So yeah whether you refrigerate it or not it’s unsafe.
@ayochan0195 жыл бұрын
@@georgehart3270 I really was joking. I know about eating rice and shit after a few days. But most Asian mom's will cook like 1kg of rice and then store it and reheat it multiple times in a week

If u meal prep a tip, if u put the food in the fridge bacteria, can grow so the best thing to do is to freeze ur meals in the freezer then at night take the food u want to eat the next day out and put them in the fridge to defrost and that prevents any bacteria from growing and yes I do rewatch peoples old videos.

The reason your bolognese looks sad is because you put the sauce and the pasta together. Your meant to keep them in separate containers so the food doesn’t dry out
