Salem’s Lot is actually set in the fictional town of Jerusalem’s Lot, Maine (Maine is where many of King’s books take place) and doesn’t have anything to do with Salem, Massachusetts. I didn’t really know that until I started diving in to King’s work!

Sorry to bring the bad news, but Salem's lot doesn't take place in Salem Massachusetts, but Is set in a fictional town in Maine called Jerusalem's Lot. King has multiple stories that take place in "the Lot," and the majority of his books take place in Maine, where he was born and grew up. If you ever get to visit Salem Mass. Don't forget to travel up to Maine and see some of King's Haunts!

Finally catching up on your vids! You are hilarious. The walking around the table killed me 🤣 Also, as someone from Salem, Ma, it is beautiful and definitely worth a visit but (ironically) not during the month of October. I'd say visit in the summer or end of September if you're looking for that fall foliage vibe. October is tough cause it gets SO busy and crowded, it's intense. And the traffic is awful haha getting to my job takes me almost and hour and I live 10 minutes away 😭 lol

Girl I read a whole book on sleep months ago and it went through all the different ways sleep deprivation messes you up and ever since then I can’t watch these challenges without wincing 😭 Please be careful doing this challenge like this, the risks are scary. Imo the version of the challenge where you just have the timer on is better not only for your health but I feel like you’re also able to put focus more without worrying about falling asleep during the challenge.

I've seen at least one youtuber change the framing of this challenge into 24 hours of active reading, but still spacing it out and getting some sleep. so it's still in actuality multiple days but 24 hours of those days are just reading. seems like a "safer" alternative, in my opinion.

I feel like what makes it difficult is always the timing: you cannot expect to be fresh and ready when you have an entire day on your shoulders nor mess up your sleeping cycle. I think the best option when you want to do this is going to bed early in order to have a few hours of sleep, waking up at 2 or 3 then when you go to bed at the end you still get 5 or 6 hrs of sleep and wake up at a decent hour
