So sorry for the audio popping 😭It took me weeks to solve this issue as I moved setup from my laptop to PC. It was my sampling rate in windows being different in OBS. I also I played around with the video encoder and changed it from AV1 to NVENC

Im sure its been mentioned already but just in case its has not. If one of your party members is not the same level as you all you gotta do is kick them out and reinvite them. They will match your exp. This would have quickly fixed your shadowheart issue. Love the content btw!

But if you fail you're fucked. In my honour mode playthrough I got there as level 4, failed a check and they killed three of my characters in the first turn. Managed to drink an invis potion and GTFO with Karlach but it was the closest call yet in my run.

It's interesting how different people take different paths through early honor mode. If I'm playing casters, I like to jump from the grove right to Karlach, kill the paladins, and then fight Flind at level 3. Two casters with shatter destroy the gnoll hunters and then it's doable. For non caster parties, my preferred path is to talk past the blighted village, the windmill, and into the goblin camp. And then I fight the sleeping goblins outside, on the upper level of the temple. Doesn't seem to agro the rest of the camp.

For an easy no combat xp source, you can investigate the alchemist basement with no combat. Selunite shrine is massive, since you can also get to the spore colony and rescue balin. It would involve doing the puzzle though.

Im in my first playthrough , playing on tactician with a pure bm fighter ( simple , i know :). Im currently in act 2 at the inn and defended isobel. Im suprised what you can do in this game and i learned so much from watching your videos so far , thank you

After you play it a few times you get really tired of how much random stuff blocks throws, and pike randomly deciding to take an eternity to return to you.

I did a throw barb the following stream and got over it by the end. It's very conditional when it doesn't return. I do a lot of out of turn shenanigans and first turn tactics so it inconveniences me a lot fetching my "returning" weapon. It's a strong build for sure I don't deny it

Drow lose out on a ton of exp in the Blight Village, which sucks. You use your race to get the goblins to be all obedient and whatnot, but you only get the exp for the one group of goblins, and after that point killing any of the goblins doesn't give you exp (except the ones at the windmill and the bugbear and ogre in the barn)

you dont even need to kill vendors right now. switch to BARTER highlight the vendors entire inventory drag over to yours NOT the BARTER part but your inventory. you can go back and forth like that and gain gold as well

If you want to make trading easier, try and incorporate shift and ctrl into bartering. Sort by type first, then shift select big groups of items. After it, ctrl+click stuff left in between and drag it once

Is there any reason why you pick Karlach as a ranger ish? Just because of the hunter mark? You can get hunter mark from bow that sold by Damon, i rather pick another class for Karlach rather than ranger in early game

Command is more reliable as you can just use it from stealth while hiding on a cliff nearby

I believe it's effectively RNG-fixing. When you kill a trader, they will automatically have "some" of the items from their inventory on them when they die. Normally the ones they are scripted to have (if you didn't already purchase them), and a small selection of any items you have sold to them. If you sell them a backpack/pouch/etc..., and then move their entire inventory into it, the game thinks they only have 1 item on them when you kill them, so it's pretty much going to drop that backpack (with the contents still inside) when they die.
