Super glad Wirt is having chill times and fun playing again after Deep Dip. Watching that event got me into the game (finally) and amongst trying everything I've been slowly grinding Shallow Dip. Also. To have Wirt shine a spotlight on smaller streamers is super cool. I'm a very small streamer for sim racing, (really just Gran Turismo 7) and I've had some of the bigger streamers do similar stuff 😊 and playing Trackmania has been such incredible fun, an ice breaker it you will. I am loving almost everything in the game and can see myself really grinding to get good at it. Cheers for the fun ❤

The flow, the speed and the total lack of plastic are like a soothing antidote to all the jank of deep dip. Reminds one that this game can be beautiful
@reNINTENDO3 ай бұрын
I just finished Shallow Dip yesterday, and I gotta say, despite being drastically simpler than the real thing, it was still a relief to finally beat it. Got to the end 4 times but failed on the last jump for them 3 of them. I'm glad I stuck with it, even if it sometimes felt pretty hopeless for my skill level. But each time I made it to the last floor things always felt doable again. Highly recommend people try it, but my god. If you're a newer player and new to obstacle maps, it's a lot more brutal than a top level player would lead you to believe. Side note: Surprisingly forgiving author time. I ended up wasting probably over a minute setting up for the last jump but still got it.

I really enjoy how wholesome the Trackmania community is. I remember the first time somebody said, “GTFO STFU” and it really inspired me to take my game to the next level. Great time for opening- see that full unit. Meaning that your first round on the map was excellent and they’re telling everybody to check out what an absolute unit you are.

You have always boasted about over coming adversity and not being cowed by challenges, and never giving up has been the main motivation of your entire streaming career. But that is exactly what you did with DD2. Not trying to be negative but just trying to understand. I have always admired and been incredibly impressed by how you up hold these ideals. how can you still claim to have these values after giving up on DD2?
@BrooksMoses3 ай бұрын
I'm guessing you missed his "why I stopped playing DD2" video -- he talks a lot about this. I think the real answer to your question is that sometimes values are in conflict, and you have to choose which to follow. And in his case, "don't damage yourself needlessly" and "deliver you your commitments" won out over "never give up". Valuing something doesn't mean holding it as an absolute over everything else, just that it has high importance.
